K just finished counting Gateron Clear switches.

Starting on Gateron tops. For those that are wondering what the differences are vs abostudio V2 tops, here's some comparisons:

Gateron on Left, Abostudio V2 on Right

Gateron clear tops feel a lot smoother than Abo's scratchy/sharp tops. The Gateron tops feel just as snug as the milky white ones. 0 wiggle room on Gateron tops, as expected.

That's good to see. The abostudio ones I've had break (after MANY replacements) have only broke on the leg with the sprue mark for some reason.

Are the clear switch tops different from the clear tops on the Gateron switches?

The ones on the actual gateron switch are a milky white whereas the switch tops he's selling are actually clear.

iinm, the one's on the switches are not entirely clear. more of a matte finish.

Well I've been planning on building a keyboard since last August so I've been buying the parts I need little by little. Plus I know that I have a short attention span when it comes to keyboards so I figured I'd just get the parts first and then decide what type of build I want. =p

I won't have time to build a keyboard until the summer so I still have plenty of time to decide  ;D

Sometime in March. With Chinese New Years happening, everything's on a stop this month.

It's not that high here. But in my driveway it drifted so there are a few deep spots maybe a foot.

I wasnt crazy for the strawberry kit kat, it tasted too much like bubble gum, but the white and milk chocolate kit kats were awesome!  :)

As far as opening up switches go.. does anyone stock those switch tools Beast designed?  I didn't have any money when his Ti versions went on sale, but I'd love to buy some (cheaper stainless version just fine!)

Any way you could get something like this for your store Zeal, or would it just not be cost effective?

I've always had plans to make switch tools, but I'll need some time. Don't want to just copy The_Beast's design.

No problem! :)

According to the Japanese YT videos, you gotta oven it w/o preheating and in one of those small compact ovens. Else it'll just melt and burn on the bottom.
