So I'm looking to upgrade my PC (read, building a completely new one) and I am wondering what cables I'm going to need.

I'm looking to go blue and white, I'm using a 760W PSU (hoping it's enough), and I'm going to be having two GPUs, (Sapphire R9 270x), one SSD and four HDDs. Any idea what cables I'm going to need? Because I have no idea what ones I'm going to need and too many acronyms hurt my head.

Oh, and do you do SATA cables too?
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

You will need:-

24 pin motherboard cable
8 pin CPU cable
4x 6 pin PCI -E Cables
5x SATA Extensions

I also do SATA Cables yes

Fantastic. How much do you reckon that will set me back? And I haven't seen any of your SATA cables anywhere, what are the finishes like?

I may look to get a couple of blue/white Micro USB to PS2 as well.

I'm glad I have the opportunity to keep it within the UK too, I can't stand the age it takes to ship stuff across the pond!

Forgot to post these, a couple of SATA cables. I only use high quality latching SATA 3 (6GBPs) cables. These were sleeved in MDPC-X Black and Red sleeving and MDPC-X 3:1 ratio shrink. I always ensure that I pull the sleeve as tight as possible as this ensures that the cables can be routed without kinking and messing up the clean aesthetic of the cable; I have noticed that other sleeved SATA cables tend to spray out and kink as the sleeving is nowhere near tight enough.

SATA cables will be added to the site soon. I can do a vairety of lengths with sleeving in all major PET and matte sleeving with black 3:1 ratio shrink as standard.

www.pexonpcs.co.uk

Identical length of shrink on each and every cable to ensure clean look and integrity

No kink with my cables!

Yeah really, I don't understand why Pexon isn't considered a vendor like the other cable maker who still has a subforum there.

Pexon has a website etc., I guess it all depends on who your buddies are.

There was a misunderstanding, and Pexon did not ask that initially.  Only after the move.  As stated in the announcement about this subforum, please give us a couple of weeks to sort everything out.  Talking to people in PMs takes time.

Fingers crossed I can get it back soon. I've got a load of new photos, write ups for new threads and additional info to add to the OP of this thread.

EDIT: I want to make it known that I was not told that I would not keep my child forum under the change over to the Artisan Forum. I only asked if I was able to keep hold of it after I found out I didn't have it after the changeover, again, it was not clear that the privilege would have been removed.

We are back in business !Child board back online. I will be updating this along with most other threads in the sub-forum, I'm not 100% happy with the layout, look and info posted in the threads, so I want to streamline it all down.

In other news, to celebrate the new artisan forum I will be running a 15-20% off sale to celebrate, as well as a competition. More info to follow.

I know you have the colours tab on your website, but there seem to be more colours in the drop down menu than on the colours picture?

I've looked at the MDPC-X link as well

Couple more cables that are ready to go out tomorrow. I'm on a roll at the moment, getting new orders out in super quick time. I also renewed my yearly Photoshop deal so I will be back to posting pics of cables more frequently, I haven't been doing so and I apologize!  :p

Hi guys, just a little update from some of todays work. I had a set of Corsair PSU cables to do as well, however, I have not got the 10 and 14 pin female connectors so I didn't want to post pics of unfinished cables, however, I will have them finished tomorrow morning, so pics then! :D

I also had the opportunity to re cable some Beyerdynamic DT770s (I own a pair of these too, stunning cans for the money). Simple detachable cable mod and a nice Burgundy paracord with gold plated Rean jacks.

I'm very happy how this mod turned out, I must say myself, its nice and clean.

Hello pexon, I ordered a cable a couple of weeks back, and you said it was delivered on April 1st. Now I'm not sure if that was an April fools joke or just coincidence but it's been a week and 5 days and I just wanted to know how long delivery usually takes.

If you're in the US it may take awhile. I think mine took almost 3 to 4 weeks after it was shipped to arrive. It was well worth the wait though, Pexon has excellent workmanship.

Hi there man, if I said in a message that the cable has been sent, it 100% has done so. If you have yet to receive anything, or haven't over the weekend, please let me know and I can find the proof of postage.

If you are in the US, there may be a hold up with customs etc. Sometimes people get cables in the US in a matter of days, some may take a few weeks. I'm in the same boat, I've ordered stuff from California and its got here with regular shipping in 4 days.

Please keep me updated.

Thanks for the words of support, it means a lot.
