Does BSP still have crooked stems/ banana shifts?
I think the banana shifts are because of the material reacting through shipping them and diff temp?. I think thats also why they dont do spacebar cause of how bad it would bend for longer keys so i dont think this is a problem with the tooling. Mostly an issue with pbt i guess?

It's not an issue with pbt, these molds made perfect keycaps when they belonged to Cherry. So either way the molds are ****ed up or bsp doesn't know what they are doing.

maybe, its just weird it happens to SP pbt too like DSA granite while its thinner, also the reason the banana defect is worst. Also have epbt sets where it happens on their spacebar thats why i only use ABS on all my boards except for my mt3 set.

It's really difficult to change ISO into ANSI.
What about this :blank:

Hey dude, here are some references for you  :thumb:

tulip - https://deskthority.net/keyboards-f2/tulip-branded-g81-3246haf-strange-azerty-t10168.html

see the previous pages of this thread for the different variations of the pretty pad printed keys

APL - https://deskthority.net/wiki/Cherry_G80-3471

and the RGB set will be colored legends on beige modifers which should look good with pretty much every BSP/Cherry style PBT set ever. Like this

Thanks a lot, appreciate it!

Is the Tulip pack only the incredible ISO keys or will it be bundled as a whole 104 key set?

BSP is 101 (Winkeyless layout) keys. The tulip set will have 2 extra variants of the colored 3 key pack, so probably a total of 107 keys for the Tulip set unless they are sold separate to the base kit.

I hope the tulip keys will be seperate. Many people don't need an ansi 101 set so having these keys as a standalone would be neat

Same, I don't want to have to buy a separate BSP set just to use my BSP Tulip keys on. I'd really prefer to get the full set with the Tulip "accents."

Using OG caps will feel uniform and you can get proper homing keys. There is definetly a market for pure accent keys and I would like to see it as a seperate kit. Many GBs have the novelties as special kits so it wouldn't be that uncommon.

OG dyesubs are like twice the price of a BSP set (for a decent set) and doesn't feel the same

What exactly about BSP prevents support for additional layouts?  I'm under the impression that BSP will provide the blanks and Hammer will be doing the dye-subbing.

No R4 1.75u, so that kinda kills a lot of non-87/104 layouts.

Understood.  Yes, that R4 1.75u is pretty pivotal for many of the more popular non-standard layouts.  Thanks for the clarification.

I never had any experience BSP being flexible about layouts in the past buys. They just made keys on what moulds they have as from what ive seen in gbs. Also, unless you already have an r5 bottom row in your layout, i dont think you can mix these with other sets.

Correct. BSP also doesn't have 1.25x r5 or r4. Only 1.5x.

I think I'm going to be out on this, then. I don't have any old school Cherry boards with 1.5x bottom row mods.

I don't like homing of any kind, I'll gladly partake in that request too.

Hi Hammer, for Arabic SAA can we get F and J with no homing too? Just normal key for them and the usual BSP nipple
Let me see how many people agree with you.

+1 for no homing F and J

edit: also please keep the nipples alive to avoid drama

I’m just suggesting having both options, might be nice since the nipple is a love/hate thing
