Yes, finally! Been waiting for a better execution of the EDRUG Mix set that I got in on last year, been using it fairly regularly and I really enjoy the profile.

What's the texture/finish going to be like on these? Will legends be dye-subbed or etched like EDRUG?

Been waiting to see this IC pop up ever since it was briefly leaked on r/mm. The set looks great! Nice and clean, and in my opinion a great way for many people to get exposure into this new profile.

I think the surface texture of MDA is a little rougher than SA.

For 1800 support the 1u numpad+ key should be Row3 and there should be a Row2 numpad- key to go with it to take up the space the numpad+ key normally uses.

Color me interested! I have been wanting to try the MIX profile for awhile but the laser etched legends caused me to stay away from it up till now. I almost went in for the Big Bang ortho set KBDfans has, but would prefer to get a set that I can use with all my boards & happens to have 40%/ortho compatibility. Also I just love the basic white/grey colorway. GL with this man!

This looks like OEM profile but with spherical tops instead of cylindrical. Cool idea. My only comment is that I wish the dishing was just a little deeper. Deeper dishing is a big improvement that MT3 has over SA.

Do you have specifics on what the actual kits will be? The way it's broken up in the picture is ~16 kits as laid out, which is pretty intense. I'm assuming spacebars/convex will be grouped into a single kit, and past Mix sets have included numpad in the base. Also, I'm not sure I understand what the R0 F-region kit is about. Mac kit could also be bundled into the Modifiers Extension or Exotic kit, IMO.

All of kits will be available. The reason why we divided into so many kits because we don't want to people buy unwanted kits.

For the F-region kit that R0 profile is little higher than R1. so if you have 84 keyboard that would be very useful.

I have XDA on my daily driver but I'm really not digging the lack of sculpt so it's probably coming off soon.

Anecdotally, I don't think it's too far off. The dish is "flatter" towards the edges, so not as much of a lip/rim like XDA has, if that makes sense. The edges of each key flow more evenly into the surrounding keys, with less gap between each keycap's surface.

*Disclaimer, don't own XDA myself, but opinion based on a lot of heavy consideration of which XDA set I may eventually get (though I am not a fan of uniform/flat un-sculpted profiles based on my experience with SP's PBT DSA HC Granite)*

If you mean the modifier extension kit, it is listed as the modifiers most likely as the base kit has ANSI mods already.

You can buy them on the KBDfans store right now.

They don’t include Exotic and not all modifiers (I did buy this set from them, but there’s no 1.5U ESC and Delete keys for my Vortex Race 3).

Got my set yesterday. Haven't done a full inspection but caught a 1.25 or 1.5u "CONTRL" key (spelled like that) while just checking through the sealed bag. Hopefully no other issues, but dye sub looks good, centered, not laser crisp but nicely consistent. Looking forward to setting up a full convex bottom row!
