Yep! The styling of this set has the bottom two rows as red-orange, and those above it as yellow. So that is why you see the R2 End key as yellow, but the R4 End key as red-orange.

Will the split spacebars be convex? Judging from Calm Depths, GMK has R4C for 2, 2.25 and 2.75u.

Pantone chip for the base color from the album photos seems REALLY dark (very close to black).

With frequent updates and comparisons of color samples with the pantone chips in different light conditions like you plan to do, I’m sure this set would not have a problem hitting MOQ!

Yeah I saw that, hence the comment on the pantone chip being very dark (even under 1pm sunlight as shown in the album).

I meant that OP seems to be determined to provide constant updates as the GB progresses (in the future) and that would build buyer’s confidence.

In my opinion, the color on the renders is close to the actual color of the alphas on the solarized dark

I really like the aesthetic of this set, but I think the base color pantone looks a little too dark. Hoping it actually comes out a little more like the background color in the deskmat render.

the background of the deskmat render looks like it's halfway between the Solarized Dark alphas and mods.

I know I've been saying this in a lot of GMK GB threads recently, but it bears repeating: this set is 1 keycap away from basic 40% compatibility, and 3 keycaps away from 40% + Minivan compatibility. "Correct" legends are less important than just getting keys in the right profile. People use those keys for all different purposes anyway.

This new pictures definitely gives a better perspective on the Pantone choice and I think should be added to the first post. However, I still have concerns that current dark Pantone applied to abs plastic would not achieve your intended result as seen in the full board renders. Most people are not going to combine this set with GMK originative or any other black keyset to accent and show the color difference.

When I wrote might as well be black, I meant for anyone looking at a board with these caps will likely see it as black with colored accents (based on current Pantone and image below). The full keyboard renders, to me, give a mysterious intriguing vibe with the color.

I want the set to look like the render in most normal/common lighting rather than needing to be in direct sunlight. Not trying to offend just sharing my view in trying to make the intended set a reality.

GMK Nautilus mod keycaps don't look black. It is good color choice I think.

You know, I don't normally go out looking for GMK sets, because I have a thing for higher profile keycaps.
But I've just been scanning through the forum here for GMK sets because I think the profile might be ideal for my new TKC1800 board.
And wow, do I love how this set looks! I think it could be the perfect match to my sapphire blue board.

I don't know if the GB is coming soon or not, but count me in when the time comes.
