This would be awesome except that the layout is totally unlike a normal keypad, and nobody could touch type on it.
"The Trump campaign announced in a letter that Republican candidates and committees are now expected to pay “a minimum of 5% of all fundraising solicitations to Trump National Committee JFC” for using his “name, image, and likeness in fundraising solicitations.”
“Any split that is higher than 5%,” the letter states, “will be seen favorably by the RNC and President Trump's campaign and is routinely reported to the highest levels of leadership within both organizations.”"

Despite not being very functional, this is still awesome.

There is another row of keys hidden above the top row.   You could convert the main area into a standard numpad layout and keep keys on the right for other purposes (break them down into 5 single unit keys maybe).

Or you could make a nice navigation cluster with some extra keys off to the right.

Don't think I'd want to cut the case up, but you could probably cut down a standard M case to fit the above modifications.

Just noticed the shipping price. It's $24 to me, what's up with that?

$18 to me in MA (same shipping "zone" I think). They are just estimating a really heavy weight.

Inflating shifpping prices is pretty common on eBay.

If this had E and F keys it would make a very nice hex numpad.

That and ebay tax on even shipping..

Is it necessary to necro two threads on this?

yes it is.
ive invested quite a lot of time on this IBM screenreader. and i would like to share resources with anyone else who has one. Read the other thread and that will become apparent
I only just saw this thread after seeing the old ebay listing.

The other thread is one i am using as an amalgamation for all the current knowledge on this board, i will eventually create a wiki entry. but as you may have noticed im not very active on the forums

Threads are not gold dust, is it really neccessary to question my motives on bumping a thread on a keyboard forum. And in the process bumping the thread again?!

Commenting in a thread that has a comment 3 minutes old is a little different from bumping one that hasn't had a comment for 7 months.

While bumping another one on the exact same topic that's been dead for 3 months.

But yes, your large text ( which I see you've edited to a *slightly* smaller font) has convinced me that what's common practice in every board I've been on, and that the board software warns you about when posting, is wrong.

Thanks for the enlightenment.

I searched the model # on Google and found a British company that sources parts and had it listed so I shot them an email.  I shall wait and see

Please do, Since Rouger posted the info on his, I've always wanted a screenreader to pair with my 50-key.

Did I mention that there is some evidence that a model F tenkey was available as an add-on for the 3290 which came with a TKL "unvaser" and given the extreme similarities between the M and F tenkeys, the M screenreader makes it even more likely than a model F tenkey was made, though I still haven't been able to dig up anything but a part number and a company that had them in stock a few years back.

So anyway, I'd very much like one to round out the knowledge a bit and increase my chances of learning more about the possible model F tenkey. And in any case, it's always worthwhile to see these in the hands of people that would use them.

Edit: if it's com-com they don't have it. I've already checked. They are only good at disappointing you. Just like code micro.

I tried to get some stuff from com-com about a month ago which it had down as in stock. They sent me that email in reply so I called them out and stated that if its not in stock then they should update their information. They emailed me back to say that they could get it but he figured that I wouldn't be interested due to price, also that it would have to be ordered from the US.  I was happy to pay the estimated price of over 100 pounds but I was infected with rage by the fact that a company employee was making decisions for me as opposed to providing the information so that I could make a decision, thus I just let it be.

From the other perspective, most people probably don't think that an individual would be crazy enough to pay many dollars for very obsolete equipment so it is most likely an economy of effort thing, also even though an individual purchase would be expensive for the individual it is probably not really worth it for them in the end.
