Panda Drum Switches



Hey, this is DesignerStudio. It has been a long time since our last product launch. During this period, we are working hard on a new mold that might innovate the mechanical switches. We called it the "drum" structure. We worked on this mold for nearly 2 years. And we got our patent recently. And it is the best time to show the product to the world.

Drum Structure

We have developed an innovative MX structure mold, which we call Drum Structure. The central mast adds a drum-shaped sound cavity, and when the stem pole hits the bottom housing, the bottom-out mimics the process of hitting the drumhead.
What’s more, we provide different materials for substituting the central mast such as stainless steel, brass, aluminum, carbon fiber, POM and more to present different sound performances and different travel distances. The most interesting thing that we discovered is that it can mimic the typing sounds on different plate materials.
We also renovated the LED diffuser. The ivory, translucent diffuser with the chamfered surface can provide a better and more even RGB light effect.
Last but not least, we added a structural bead on the top housing in order to provide better stem stability.



Color design

The color theme is taken from our favorite animal of all time –the Giant Panda. Beyond that, we provide customizability to the product. We have black and white top housings, bottom housings, and stems where you can create your preferred appearance for the switches.

Spoiler Alert

We also designed a switch puller. Our Switch puller is 100% CNC and consists of a 6063 Aluminum handle and a Zirconia Ceramic head. The design is ergonomic, easy for users to pull switches without effort. The special head shape prevents hurting the plate. Last but not least, the head can be substituted for different uses. More details will be posted soon.

Neat idea, it would be a shame if you named it the same as another popular switch or switch combination that already existed for years in the hobby that is super recognizable and makes it really difficult to SEO or know what anyone is talking about when discussing them...

I definitely agree that it probably should have a more identifiable name so it doesn't get confused with the holy panda switches. But I'm definitely gonna pick up a set of these
