Probably the most useless keyboard EVAR...

This is probably the most useless keyboard ever:

http://arstechnica.com/journals/hardware.ars/2008/11/13/steelseries-launches-wrath-of-the-lich-king-zboard-keyset

That is, unless you use your mouse with your left hand, but even then, it assumes that its custom layout would be your choice of a custom layout.  In a sense, it reminds me vaguely of the overlays you could put on your Model M that had all of the WordPerfect, Harvard Graphics, Lotus 123, (your favorite old-school-DOS-based app here) keyboard combos and quick reference materials.  At least those overlays were useful to everyone.  I think the only person who will be using this 'board; however, is the designer since they certainly thought this kb was full of good design choices.

Fail.

I'm not too sure what that double space bar is, either.

I think you can swap the keysets around like in this pic:

The keyboard can be folded for storage or some other weird purpose no one uses. But yeah its foldable along where the spacebar splits. There are other keyboards for like BF2142 and some other games as well that are identical but vary the keyset on the right lol. But obviously if you are a decent player you wouldnt need those.

You know what keyboard I usually game with?

A ThinkPad X61 Tablet keyboard, rubber dome+scissor switches and all.

And I use the TrackPoint.

Anyway, foldability actually is a useful feature in a gaming keyboard. Think about it... it makes it smaller for transporting to LAN parties and such.

Yeah, because no one around here ever stores a keyboard.  Oh wait... :)

I just can't get over the fixed layouts for the different games.  I would rather have a completely customizable grid where I add keycaps where I want them for different games (that might be kind of a hassle, though, of you play a lot of different games).  I would also want it on the left side since I use my right hand for mouse duties, and I wouldn't want to slide my keyboard over to the left everytime I want to play a game.
