Now the question i always wondered how does it taste? and being of the same type as potatoes, yeah you are not going to die eating it raw but it is only if you are going to starve otherwise (raw potatoes will make you sick like that, if you ever tried, edible in small portions but will make you sick in larger)

It's a vegetable, of course it's going to disagree with you.

It's much more efficient to have a cow or something eat food for you and process that into much more nutrient-rich steak ^^ .

Eat the thing that eats the vegetables to save the extra step of having to digest them for yourself!

Ah, the cruciferous strikes again!  Perhaps cooking it lessens the raffinose trisaccharide causing issues.  Maybe if you start with small portions and work your way up your body will grow accustom to it?

Raw turnip is pretty good, I think you might have just overdone it eating 2 of them. Try a portion of one sliced thin on a salad for better results.

I wouldn't eat a raw turnip unless I had to. I did eat part of a sugar beet one time though, no different to hard candy. certainly tasted better than licqourice at least.
