the creativity of this set is awesome, so it’s a real bummer it couldn’t make moq. the pricing issues at the start probably didn’t help the launch. in fact, sales were suspended for several days after being live for just a couple of hours. the fact that this thread doesn’t show kitting is odd (and the fact that no one commented on it). also, mechs + co had the wrong lead time posted for a couple of weeks, showing delivery in 4Q2022. and the sample colors were way off from the renders. there is probably more for a post mortem but i really think there were issues that could have been avoided.
and where was the promotional activity? it was two weeks from the time this thread went up until the 2nd post. no hype on reddit, either. maybe use your discord to rally your supports to help raise visibility in other channels? and did this set ever make the front page at mechs + co website? it did not at launch and i never bothered to look after that, so i don’t really know. last, the colors of this set weren’t for everyone so more marketing might have helped this set reach the right audience.
