Keyboard of the Month - August - Vote
« on: Mon, 12 September 2016, 05:50:55 »
OK boys and girls, it's time for the vote for August's Keyboard of the Month!

I had to make a decisions because we didn't have many +1s this month, so sorry to y11971alex and ntw for not making it through to the final vote

So here we go, the nominees are:

Yesguchi's vertical keyboard

Full build log and video of it in action here

oh yeah I saw that crazy **** if that doesn't win I'm deleting my account

Second is nmur's 45g uniform lubed and silenced Blueforce Realforce

And last is Jaffers Redforce V60 Mini with painted plate and tuned stabs

Poll will last for seven days! Good luck everyone!

Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

Very voted, and may the best one win!
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Congratulations to Yesguchi! A worthy winner, and luckily for Sifo, he doesn't have to delete his account! Hopefully we get to see more of this prototype and see a fully fledged model in the near future!

honestly if that didn't win, I would have been very disappointed in GH and actually would have ragequit.

not to say those other 2 boards aren't nice, but there needs to be more crazy **** like that here, that's what keeps things interesting, otherwise we just turn into /r/mk.

I agree 100%

I'm kind of annoyed that it was only ahead by that much.

The other boards were great, but alot of it was just quality photography.

His vertical board was just something Ive never seen before.

Thanks.
New version's design is almost done.
I bought 3d printer and adjust size due to shrinkage and expansion.
It is more comfortable. And remove glue and tape. It means using nut.
It looks like stealth warship.
I try to complete new version keyboard as soon as possible.
Because I got a job(government employee in civil) and approximately working will start in October middle.
See you soon.
