Hey guys i am new here and am very excited about this group buy. I have a ducky g2 9087 with stock white PBT keys. I think ducky keys are "OEM". I would like to get just the raindrop mods which would go well with my existing white keys. Raindrop keys are DCS. Am i going to run into trouble mixing these two keycap sets? I was hoping just to get mods to see how much i dig having custom keycaps

it wouldnt be great, among other difference oem caps are basically taller across the board, so although they would fit it would be a great typing experience

Well the reason why I ask was I just got the LoL QWER key set which is SP ABS-- backlight shines through the red keys but not the blue ones.

This exact set hasn't been made yet, so what you'll want to do is make a thread asking for someone to post pictures of Round 1, with backlight and it will probably have a good idea of what it will look like for you.

Here's my round 1 Raindrop on a Poker 2. IInm, it's on the highest brightness. If not probably around middle brightness ?
Light won't go through the blue mods, only the white alphas.  ;D

i would have switched but we have lots of custom keys etc in the set, and if we moved over there would be too many changes to things and we are too late in the gb to make that happen

but i will say this, this is the last sp gb from us, at least for a full set

SP is the only people with novelty cap parts, but GMK only has cherry parts?

Ignore them please, even though I'm a devout hater of the DCS this "RAINDROP" key-set is still the bomb  .  The only DCS worth getting of course this will only go on other reds, blues and black MX switches.

If GMK is now in the picture then go for it.  If they could use your icons it would be even better (Germans don't usually like to use anything non-standard with their moulds).

Just let us know how much more you'll need to get this done, because I do know that GMK manufacturing isn't cheap.

this crossed my mind

the trouble is, we are too late on in the buy, its not a numbers issue, but there are too many kits and custom legends, and its not fair to bait and switch people on this, its going ahead as sp this time, but as stated above, im moving to gmk after this, and we have plans already, and the MOQ isnt gonna be an issue
