I imagine alps64 or just Alps Party, with the layout specified where relevant. For instance:

"My Alps Party HHKB is cooler than your Infinity."

Or

Thank you I got the caps from a Costar manufactured board with Omron B3G-S clone switches, the ISO plate from that board was not Alps compatible, so i used the ISO plate from a Datacomp DFK192 which has perfect stabilizers in it already.  My second Alps64 build will be ANSI version.  Its harder to find ISO Alps boards and im very happy the builds almost finished.

Once i get the plate cut into 60% size, this is what my first Alps64 build will look like  The caps need some retrobrighting, after that they will look amazing.

Dang, I'd be really worried about hurting myself if I had to cut the plate on my own.

How were the Group Buy plates originally cut? I'm kicking myself for not buying more, but there are a few waterjet cutting services within 30 minutes from me. Maybe I'll shop around and see how much making plates are.

Open the switch up before you replace anything. Tactileness (tactilitity?) can easily be fixed sometimes by just taking it apart and putting it back together, or by adjusting the click leaf.

WOW Matias switches are impossible to open. I managed to get the toothpicks in either side which seems to have made it more tactile somehow, but has also changed the sound. Sadpanda 

Whatever, now i can wasd all day without my a key being way less tactile!

It's the same as the right Windows key, it's just the lighting and my iPhone that are making it look a bit funky

Yeah the blue on the case and the plate don't really match. What the hell, it's close enough for me.
But they are both great blues!

And now I have the blues, because part of me wishes I had been part of the Alpine Winter GB

I've realized I like tactile more than clicky, but I bought 200 clicky and 100 tactile, since I thought it would be the other way around.
Anyone interested in buying 200 clicky, selling me 50 tactile, or some kind of trade? I only need 50 tactile, not 200 by the way. I bought too many Just In Case

Yep. I've tried everything I could think of. By "better place" I meant my kitchen garbage can
You can also see that one contact pin snapped completely in half.
For future me: Don't try to open Matias switces. Just spend the half-hour desoldering and getting all of the solder out of the hole and soldering in a new switch.

I bought some piano strings, i might be able to get you some.

How do you stretch that piano string to make sure the end result is straight by the way? The bending itself doesn't seem that hard, and in any case there are tools to help with that, but I assume the wire is coiled when you get it.

I would just like to give a huge thanks to BlueNalgene for running this GB! It was absolutely flawless.

Piano wire from hobby stores come in 1m straight lenghts. You just bend them to fit your key size and cut with a dremel cutting disc. Works great
