This seems like a touchy subject because I doubt the artists of the community, who pour so much time and effort into their work, want some loser nobody, like that guy dr_alphabet, talking **** about their work.

That being said, I really don't care much for the great Bambino's horse ...thing. Pegasus? idk.

These keys on the Model-F XT. The "+" key on the numpad is 3u tall, but only with 1u of usable surface area. Good think they are so moddable.

I really dislike GMK. The plastic they use in terms of thinness are not to my taste. Not really a big fan of their profile either. Clacks are definately overated but I still want one

Can't do SA; the typing experience is POOP, but the sets look great in pictures. DSA I only like on Ortholinear boards. I will usually buy a keyset if I like the color scheme rergardless.

Cherry profile is my usual go to for anything else; the manufacturer doesn't mean that much to me.
Brownie points for any profile if it's PBT though.

Why do I hate them? Because they are useless and can't be clicked (otherwise it will broke).

Don't really care about other layouts that people use. I personally think it's great, but I get why people prefer others. I use the HHKB layout and a standard ANSI TKL daily, I do prefer the HHKB, but I get the ANSI TKL.

Actually, I can't say that I like Topre.  I've yet to try one, being a guy that prefers linear switches.  I can't say I haven't been curious but have lacked the desire to drop cash on one.

The Topre is good to others. Especially to your roomate or family wife...girfriend, But the Cherry or gateron is good for me. . I like the sound ,when I click the keyboard.

Anyway, SP's caps aren't universally thin. DCS is, but SA is the exact opposite, for example.

SA is still not as thick compared to GMK, it's just that there's so much volume in the cap due to the high profile that they don't feel flimsy.

I despise keysets like TA Royal Alpha with what I guess you could just call alt legends? Not sure of the proper term, but it's usually incredibly cluttered and just doesn't look good to me.

The fact that it's usually a mix of doubleshot and dyesub/printed makes it even worse.

I do not like most artisan key caps, I have nothing against the craftsmen that invest time and effort in them; but, the value they add to a mechanical keyboard is questionable. By all means, I respect people that invest money in them and collect them, they are not for everyone, though. I have seen great examples of beautiful keyboards that do not need an artisan to look awesome.
