That looks sweet. :-o
Almost like it's an aluminum case.
Nice buddy :P

Thanks guys :)

Just put some keys on. Now I think I shouldn't even bother to paint the bottom since it matches so nicely with the keys  ;D

So did you paint the casetop, or is it some strange rebranded Cherry we haven't seen before? It looks great!

Repainted. He didn't remove the led sticker hence you still can see some original paint.

Try to remove the LED sticker with hair dryer if you ever have chance to paint another case. Nice job!

Look great it is slightly more blueish gray than NCR. Maybe with Olliveti set on top would look even better, either way nicely done.
This sucks more than anything that has ever sucked before.

Apropos painted case tops, I forgot I never posted my 1851.

When I painted the case simply removed the LED cover with a small sharp knife.

Very nice! I am going to vinyl wrap mine in metallic blue but yours seems very nice.

Here is my quick and dirty Macross set on a Raptor Gaming K1

Also, if any of you want to get rid of either a Leeku pcb or WinKeyLess ISO pcb let me know. ;)

Just plug it in, every key is there just change it to the correct input in your OS.
What problems do you have with it?

Here is my G80-1890LUADE-2 ... aka Raptor Gaming K1 :P

My Mini Skidata. :D

Did some vinyl wrapping on the front plate of a G81-1800 and used the keycaps of a SkiData board to try to make it look like one.
Unfortunately the Raptor is a winkey board and the SkiData winkeyless so the 1.5 mods and 7x spacebar don't fit.
So this has slightly turned into a Unicorn vomit board XD

Hello. Nice Keyboard by the way.
I have two problems.
First, I can not configure the Fkeys..
And second, I have problems with double typping (mistypping).  I think tthe problem is witth some keys like the ii or t (I have not correct the last text to show you the problem). Probably, it is a lube problem (but I do not want to  dismount the keyboard) or a problem by type on a mx clear keyboard.

Many a Raptor K1 gave up their lives for these keycaps...
A moment of silence please.

Looks great!  :thumb:
I am still surprised how well the CMYK and glow in the dark caps match.

hehe, thanks buds. The K1 caps are actually slightly darker than the gmk cyan caps but since I took the pic outside I think some of the nuclear glow in the dark stuff brightened up the exposure a bit, hah.

55g lightly-Krytox-mix-lubed Vintage Blacks~

Also planning on MDPC-X sleeving (Aquamarine or Light Grey) a USB cable and soldering it onto this ~

They talk PS/2 and there is a handset style socket inside the case so it should be as simple as crimping an adapter cable and installing it. The pins are GND, +5V, kb data, kb clock, in that order.

You might want to use an extra thin cable if you don't want to enlarge the hole in the case that the cable comes out of. When you open it beware that screws come in two lengths: two long screws in the back, three short in the front.

There is also an adapter cable of some sorts inside the Dolch computer case... but it is not as easy to get out.

BTW, here are mine. One acquired five years ago, one last week.

It should be as simple as crimping a cable with PS/2 at the other end, unscrewing the box, plugging it in and screwing it back together again. The hole the cable comes out of might need to be enlarged if the cable is not thin enough. Beware that screws come in two lengths: two long screws in the back, three short in the front.

WHY YOU HAVE TWO?! :'(   Sorry, just realized one is ISO and the other ANSI~ Beautiful~~~<3

I don't get how you guys find these things for so cheap... I really should figure out what to search for on ebay to find a set for cheap... I'd die for a set for my 1800. The vintage blues are also nice.

For me it was only luck. I got the first one right when the Dolch had become known. The computer with the ANSI one was posted in a Great Finds thread on DT, and I lived nearby so I got it if only to save the computer. The seller would have thrown the whole computer away if someone hadn't taken it. When we talked, we found out that I had been workmate with one his sons for three years, so he was extra nice and swung by my house with a Dolch carrying bag and Dolch driver diskettes a few days later. :)

Must feel study af using PCB mounted switches with a plate. Does it sound any different from a plate mounted board?

Beautiful! Is that stock except for the blue caps? That blue matches the Dolch logo perfectly.

Everything is the from Ivan's recent Dolch group buy. The original keys are in the ziplock hidden and being preserved.

I've wanted to post in here for so looooooong, and I'm finally posting in here ~

It's not completed yet but it has PCB mounted switches soldered into plate ~

55g lightly-Krytox-mix-lubed Vintage Blacks~

Once I get my plate-mounted stabilizers, I'll have to dremel the Cherry 1800 case so that this bad boy will fit.

Also planning on MDPC-X sleeving (Aquamarine or Light Grey) a USB cable and soldering it onto this ~

Also have a spare case which I'll be either painting Metallic Blue or Gunmetal, but not sure yet ~

Drool.

That seals the deal for me... I'm making a Dolch PAC case out of aluminium.
