Title: Power keyboard by power bank
Post by: spunit on Tue, 11 December 2018, 12:41:37
I want to connect my wired keyboard to a power bank. I only want to power it, turn on the lights for example. I tried doing so, but my keyboard doesn't light up. The indicator on the power bank and an indicator on the cable itself stay lit when I power my phone for example, but when powering my keyboard they only stay lit for a couple of seconds. Maybe it should be like this since my phone is charging its battery, and my keyboard doesn't have a battery? I don't know. Anyhow, the keyboard doesn't light up.

Keyboard: Ducky One 2 Backlit
Powerbank: Deltaco Slim Pocket Size Powerbank
Outputs: keyboard USB-C ---------- power bank USB (2.1A)

Any ideas why it won't power On / light up?

I think it might be your keyboard/Ducky, I connected my Ducky pocket to my cheero power plus and it would turn off after a few like your Ducky. Using the same battery bank I was able to have my GON TKL light up through the whole Seattle Keycon which was a few hours and it never turned off.

Oh... Did you mean that your Ducky Pocket lit up for a few seconds?

Yeah, I was able to use it for maybe 20 seconds before it turned off again.
