I'm not sure if its because I was born in the 80s or what, but this reminds me of old school nickelodeon stuff.

I haven't sent any ACTUAL Paypal invoices peoples! I've currently PM'd and confirmed the Keycap, Invoice Email, Name, Postal Address, and Telephone Number to attach to the registered mail, thats it. Please be aware of any scams as I realise this site gets 'hacked' alot?

Update:

Due to the price of registered mail from Australia, and the predominant USA based clientele, we are actually making a loss on each keycap sold.

Rest assured that the Round 1 price will remain the same as promised.

The package boxes we ordered hasn't arrived yet. Invoices will be sent once we're ready to ship.

OMG these are awesome. Especially the Green on purple inspired by day of the tentacle.... that was an awesome game and makes for one awesome keycap. PMed for one of the green purple keycaps.

Also would you mind posting a detailed desciption of how those are made so people could do their own? (if you already did I apologize i only had time to scan the thread) I would really like to try making something similar.

These look so good, especially when so many are together I feel like they are pieces of candy. Anyone else think they look delicious? All kidding aside I would be happy to pay more for shipping so you don't lose money. I think we can all agree an extra few bucks is no match for how awesome these keys will look when we receive them.

ಠ_ಠ

they just offered to sell the first batch at a loss and now you want them to write you a how-to as well?

i'm going to get preachy here, but this isn't how we treat people who go through the effort to make something creative on geekhack. if they volunteer to share their methods, that's cool, awesome even, but we don't beg them to tell us how to make things. if we want something similar, and we don't want to commission them to do it, and they don't volunteer to show us how they did it, we start our own thread, start playing with the same fundamentals they did, and make something cool by ourselves.

anyway, i'm sure your question was not malicious, and you're just as excited as we are, but please be careful when you ask people who have put hard work into things "hey can you tell me exactly what you just did so i can skip all that hard work for myself?".

ok, back to being super excited for my gooey cap. SO EXCITED

ps, to be clear, i don't honestly think you begged, but it's a bit offensive to ask regardless.

he is probably just excited, its cool to know that these can be done if he is anything like me he wants to put his missus to work making keycaps as well :P

i'd love to know how its done as well but i didn't ask because he is selling them so didn't want to take anything away from his great products. but i know my girl would love to do this as she is very artsy as well and im always spending tons of money on art crap for her so its only fair if i get something i can actually use out if it as well right? lol

Ok saying this isn't how we treat people seems a stretch from a would you mind question. No is a perfectly acceptable and understandable answer and my question was in no way meant to be disrespectful. You kinda sound like I demanded he hand over his firstborn child. I politely asked something and again no is a perfectly fine answer.

I would have bought one from him either way (if i can get one that is).

I really was just excited and was thinking about experimenting with his method to see what I could create and that seems to be a large part of what geekhack is all about. In that context I don't think it is offensive to ask.

If you honestly feel my behaviour needs to be discussed further would you mind doing that via PMs rather then in this thread bc I feel it's somewhat missplaced here and like you suggested gets in the way of the excitement about these awesome keycaps.  :)
