I'm curious, are these being shipped yet? And Is there any spots avail if not?

These have not been shipped. There are no extra spots, the group buy filled up a few months ago.

These are scheduled to ship in September. I will do my best to stay true to that. Extras may be available after GB-participants get their boards. The priority will be to replace any defective cases with A-stock from the extras, so participants don't have to wait.

Ok, so...this is what I put up on Discord just now...

I've been in a really weird place with work for a bit now. I've been up for promotion at work, working extra, and trying to make things livable, but today I finally got word:

I got the promotion, but the salary offer is.... not enough to really live on. I honestly thought it would be worth it to continue this job and do the keyboard business at the same time, but it really doesn't make sense  to stay in a job that takes up so much of my time, is physically and emotionally exhausting, and inhibits from realizing my real passion and what I know I can accomplish.
What makes sense to me is to just go full-bore with keyboards.
What does this mean for you guys?  What is my projected timeline?
Well, here it is so far....
I'll be speeding up the timeline on all current and upcoming projects.
Rukia will ship in September.
October will be a month-long campaign to get the final funds for manufacturing equipment.
By November, I'll be manufacturing Irma and two other boards--a 65% and a 75%--all in UHMW.
Those boards and all future boards will be available on my website on a made-to-order basis.
That means by December, before 2020, UHMW will be a reality in the community in regards to cases.
2020 will be the year of indestructible cases and lube-less switches.

Are the dimensions and profile of the front bezel publicly available? I have some basic modeling skills and have made wooden wrist wrests for my own Alice-like boards in the past.

I hope that you re-run the PC Rukia again in the future, really sad that I wasn't able to snag one. Regardless, this looks fantastic :)

Still waiting on the brass plates. Lead time is 20 days. If you bought a brass plate, please decide if you’d like to wait or want me to ship separately.

Here is Rukia with polycarb plate.

Any idea on the shipdate for people who did NOT order brass plates... and are probably regretting not doing so? Either way, you are way in above schedule which is awesome  :thumb: this GB has been pretty damn perfect, honestly

This GB ended a few months ago - they’re shipping soon, so you may be able to get one off the aftermarket.

Alternatively, the POM/UHMW Alice should be selling somewhat soon. It’s a different plastic, but I think Jaxx is planning to sell unlimited copies of them.

Yes. Inside of the top case, looking at the LED area. I made the wells as big as possible to accommodate people like myself who only have giant LEDs at their disposal.

Will there be ever r2 or nah?

I've gotten MANY requests for extras or a round 2.
UHMW is the next iteration, hopefully by the end of January.
But even knowing this, some still prefer polycarb.
I have that in mind, however, I haven't run an IC for R2 polycarb Rukia because I haven't yet fully delivered R1 and made sure that buyers from R1 are satisfied.
More important than that is if Yuktsi plans to run polycarb Alice. If so, I won't do another polycarb run at all. I'll be joining the real TGR GB.

If I run a R2 for polycarb it will be a group buy format in January. Lead time from the manufacturer will be 45 days. Delivery from me will be much more streamlined, learning what I did through this first GB.

For UHMW boards, I am about to launch a website for orders. At the end of January, I will have made enough injection molded "blanks" that you can order online and pick out your customization options. Orders will be fulfilled "made to order" this way, and I'm shooting for a turnaround of 1 week or less at first.
Online "in stock" availability will open and closed based on that turnaround. So if the website says "out of stock," I've reached my max capability to meet that timeline.

I'll announce in this thread and on Discord when the site is ready to launch and how many boards will be available for the first group of orders to test out how many I can turn out in a week.

Oh didn't expect a R2 to be this soon awesome. In my opinion you don't need to cancel the poly carbonate version if yutski runs Alice R2 poly carbonate because the demand will be so high that like probably 1/50 will probably get a GB spot. So having two options for more chance to get a poly carbonate Alice would be nice.

Also is there a discord link to join the discord server?

Edit: Found it nvm

For Rukia R2, is it possible to offer alternate colors of PC for the case? Even a simple black might be nice for a choice, but translucent blue or purple would work super well for gmk vaporwave imo, and I'd personally pay extra for that.

Colored polycarb would be tits!
