It's possible to use a tablet for relative motions, just configure it in software.

Thanks for the hint, i give it try right now - it's a very weird feeling or i have to tweak the acceleration and speed better. I remember i tried to use the mouse mode on the smaller tablet, but didn't liked it very much and never tried again. Damn, i'm often too lazy to change something.

Haha, anything to make you feel better!  :P  Like I said though, this was the height of messiness.  ;)

Bahahaha.  Hopefully you weren't too put off by it.  :D

Daym that's a gen 1 G5, I didn't think anyone still used those.

I do!  It is only now, after maybe 8 (?) years of use, starting to fail and show signs of major wear.  (cord has once or twice been goofy, and the scroll wheel is less than perfect)

I like the Hoffbruh setup

seriously seems like a lot of 'ass' on your whiteboard

Thanks!  I don't think many people would like how messy it is (myself included actually), but I had very little choice.  I could either deal with it or sell things, and I like my things and use them a lot so I went with the messy option.  And yes, it says 'ass' a lot, as I had a lot of assignments due.  It also says 'clean whiteboard' under 'To Do:'.

Double post for the sake of not having a long-ass post.

I'm bored and without internet (except for right now cause I stole it from my neighbors! muahahah), so I'm just going to post my "desks" and "setups" that are just stupid and obnoxious but are definitely what I'm using right now.  (I'm unpacking at my new place)

"Desk" while I watch a movie and eat dinner:

"Desk" while I use my desktop to kill some time:

Oh the lack of furniture brings back some fond memories.

Used to spend hours Free Couch on Corner street shopping. When I found one I tied it to the top of my old Escort ZX-2 and when it fell off I just kept driving.

Once I get all moved in this weekend I'll get a picture of my setup.

Nah don't even worry about the mess dude
My desk area is super clean only because I want it to be, all of my room is an absolute mess populated by boxes

kinda clean desk

Time for longer wires!  Also, your shots of all your keyboard boxes remind me of my room, covered with boxes.  And then I moved and didn't have room to pack any of that stuff so I had to toss it.  (didn't toss the product boxes though, don't worry)

:))   I assumed that's what you meant the wires were too short for!  What did you try, putting it under your bed??   :p

  I don't know why I haven't realized this after 16 months of using this setup

the only thing I'm worried about is my feet and the case...Where would it go without me sitting and being obstructed by the case at my feet..I'd want everything to be centered now

Would it fit on the right where the door and drawer are? Maybe it's too tall to fit in the cabinet, but if it's empty above where the drawer is you might be able to pull it out so PC fits?

Going to probably try and fit in where my feet are most of the time, the drawer has a bunch of stuff in it and I don't think the case would fit

Moving on the right side of the desk on the ground, that's probably going to be too far for the wires

I added another desk so my weekend project has become tearing everything down/putting it back together again.
