Sunny and 70 degrees in December so I had to take a pic ^-^

That is a super swaggy chair :)

Nice setup Kat!

Thanks dude ^_^

yeeah I really want to get one similar, my gf has loads of them for jewellery

They are soooo useful. The larger drawers have little mats at the bottom so things don't slide around.

Nice football  :))

Thanks mayn, I want to use it like someone sat in a cell would, but I can't bounce it off anything... And it looks weird me just throwing it straight up in the air =/

Nice setup.  :)  Now go unpack all your trinkets on that shelf in the corner.  ;)

Yuhhhhh, definitely need to do that. It's mostly keyboards though to be honest... In fact it will probably be all keyboards and car stuff laid out in a nonsensical manner...
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

That rig  so many GPUs

How do you like the standing desk? I've never used one before so I'd assume that you'd get tired of standing after a certain point or is that not the case?

Saw the first two pictures without looking at who posted and I was like, "This has to be Glod."

Setup is looking good. One keyboard is never enough for a desk :)

Holy crap I must have glazed over your rig posts before.   That's awesome.

Loving the desk setup as usual.  :thumb:  Looks roomy enough to not feel cramped, but populated enough to not feel empty.  I like it.

HAHAHAH ~ I'm glad it entertains you <3

Even better! I have a Vornado fan which I can just place no a chair so that it just blows right through the box!

So far however, it's running at decent temps even with the CPU cooler heatsink/fans running. Idle temps of 30-35 degress celcius.

Indeed it does. It's a give and take kind of relationship. But coming from a 27" 1440p iMac previously with a 6970m, it's absolutely beautiful and I just can't go backward to 1080 now!

EDIT: even if that means cutting certain settings back a bit to hit 60fps.

Shouldn't be too bad, I have a R390 running a 3440x1440 and it does a pretty decent job. Waiting for my monitor arm and mouse mat and I will post a nice pic :)

yea I'm running all my games 1440 @ 60fps but I have to turn down certain things like shadows and AA a bit sometimes in the newer games like fallout and GTA to achieve that. But its still an insane improvement over my previous setup.

Exactly the same experience, also had to turn AA off in GTA :) With 1440 AA becomes less important anyway. It's really is a phenomenal improvement hey, I also just recently got mine, upgraded from a 25.5 1080p monitor and it's just so much nicer!

You just can't put a price on seeing more in certain games. For instance, in Diablo 3 I see treasure goblins and other mobs way before my teammates do on 1080. Things like that make it just way better.

You are so right :) I sometimes even feel bad especially in tf2, on the ultrawide you see extra on the sides too!  :)) Will never go back from 1440, I think it's the perfect resolution.

Honestly, I also think that 1440p is the perfect one. I used to run asus pb278q and now running LG 4k ips freesync.

I love playing battlefront on my 4k and the freesync is amazing but on daily use I feel like 1440p is so much better.  Now I've my asus on the side as second monitor

I like both, they both are great in different situation. But I prefer one single monitor :( what to do...
If I can send one to Vesper I will, but shipping is so much problem

Yeah they so big, getting them around is an issue. Tough decision there! If you already have the GPU grunt to play on 4k I guess you just have to stick with that and try and scale it to something similar to 1440p native.

Imagining Battlefront on 4K... LOL! That must be insane :)) :)) :))

I'm with you though, 1440p does sound like the most ideal/efficient high def resolution. Maxing out on 4K sounds like you'd definitely need a very beastly computer.

jokrik <3 The thought of you even considering such a kind gesture is more than enough for me <3 Thank you for being so kind-hearted. I'm truly blessed by beautiful people like you <3

HAHAHA!!! Luckily, the weather is finally cooling down a lil' in FL so it's running at decent temps even in this cardboard box, but I'm scared every time I tap/touch it. LOL!

Yes, exactly.  Surface Book.  Testing it out for my team; I like it a lot!

And I also like your man cave.  Computers, keyboards, and caps galore!  Love it dude :-)

you can't see anything because everything is black >.<

That dark red color of the wall is great.

Nah, man, it was a nice change to be working at the coffee shop for a little while.  The office gets too stuffy and it's really hard to get work done there this time of year - I love the "Christmas atmosphere" but it doesn't help my productivity.  Usually I use a Poker with my Surface but I'm testing this one out for my work so I have to use the machine as they would use it.  :thumb:

so, why is that?

topre best switch
hhkb best layout

use one and you'll see what a great combo it makes.

also, before those horrible mx/topre sliders, it was hard to make these boards ugly. but now these cherry scrubs started ruining the hhkb look with all their damn colors.
