Do I detect the jealousy of those haters without Greens?

More just someone impatient that has ghetto greens and is waiting for the same board.

THE PHANTOM!!!
(sorry for the crappy phone camera) :p

I require to know where you got those purple LED's, sir.

I think I am decided: I will be using my phantom without a case, until such a one can be found for it. Phantom's are great, and yours is an excellent example.

sth, all the phantom plates look like that...? It was pretty awesome, so I bought two.

mbc (DT) built that for me, here is the link he gave me

Greens are heavier than I would've thought. I'm going to take it to work tomorrow and put it through it's paces, but I'm thinking I might prefer a spring in between Blue and this.

Are they like black, but with the feedback of browns?

blues with black springs...

Not quite true according to the DT wiki, as blacks are 60cN, and greens are 80cN for actuation.

Actually boost is right. The stem makes a difference. For example Reds and Blues have the same spring but are 45cN and 50cN respectively. The slider/plunger mechanism of Blues causes them to require a higher actuation force.

Hmm, even so, I would be surprised to see a 20cN difference then. 5cN seems pretty small.

Cheers,

P.S.
Hey if I'm wrong it's k. Just that seems to be a huge difference based solely on a very slightly different stem.

Someone definitely needs to investigate to see if the actuation is equal between genuine and ghetto greens.

Wonder when will they actually arrive Australia. :(

If, not when.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
