that looks like a very clever idea.
My only worry would be for the logo and the sticker on the back of the board.
Excellent process for very old boards though.

I'd like to try the gel version at some point because it can be spread on:

You could tape some plastic over the label. I don't know if the mixture will affect the logo. It's probably best to try it on something less valuable first.
