PMK means getting the sets straight from SP.  MassDrop means going through their distribution warehouse.  On the plus side, MassDrop does bring in a larger number of potential customers which may be helpful in bringing down kit costs.

I don't mind going with Massdrop either, or a PMK gb (they use nice boxes!) if anything you have a little extra assurance and you have someone to turn to if you get damaged or missing keys.

Besides the cool boxes, is there any big difference from using Massdrop compared to PMK that you know of?

Massdrop could potentially negotiate a lower cost than SP would give us running through PMK purely due to the number of large orders that they place with them.

In my experience and what I've seen, it seems like PMK/SP has better shipping. MD shipping has been questionable. And I'm not just saying that because of TA. I've had other stuff from MD come in bad packaging.

I'd really like to see this set be on my board but I'm conflicted with the info we got from Flatline :(

Yeah, I'm with you there on Massdrop's shipping.
I bought a TEX acrylic from them and it was just the case in a box with less than par packing material.
Same with some mods, just in a bag with little cushion in a box.

That info really set up a road block for SA sets atm tho :(

Shipping aside, Massdrop is very tempting with the talk of it being the lowest price.
I wanna choose the path that saves everyone the most money unless there's other concerns, besides shipping.
If there's any damaged keys I'm sure they can get replacements quickly.

From what I've learned, they order extras for these kind of situations.

Yup, and this is the source of their occasional sales where they sell off stuff that's left over.

From what I've seen of Massdrop issue replacements it seems like that was mostly due to the TA fiasco. I haven't heard of people complaining about MD shipping SP sets. On top of that, SP themselves just bag up the sets and ship them out, which is what MD does for the SP sets too.

I believe that's the case.  They'll then sell the leftovers off at some later date when they do their warehouse clean-up sales on the site.  They did one not all that long ago.

Well I guess we're going Massdrop :)

You've all been very helpful.

I guess I just start a poll there when the IC is finished?
Not really sure since I don't use it often.

You should talk to theiscamper, he has experience in this. I beleive it makes more sense to approach massdrop directly

Yup, those polls are hit or miss with them.

@switchnollie: There's a support link where you can contact them as a vendor.  I believe you can use that for getting in direct contact with them to set the buy up, directing them to this discussion as the interest check in lieu of a MassDrop poll.  From what I recall, thesiscamper went this route with Troubled Minds.

Cool cool, I'll contact camper sometime in the next few days since I'm still seeing what's up with the SA fiasco & update you all on the progress of the set :thumb:

SA situation is completely excluded when dealing with massdrop as far as I can tell.

Yeah I think that's true, I saw from lsb that Massdrop is logged with keysets for a long time right now tho.

I'll wait around a bit more since I still need to update the ISO kit & then some.

Once you get the kits figured out you should contact Massdrop to get this one going. The longer it has to wait, the more sets will get in front of it.

Small update with kits :thumb:

Moved big enters to a separate ISO kit.

Moved the gray numpad addons from the splash kit to numpad kit so < tenkey users don't end up with useless caps if they splash up.

I plan to include spacebars(7U & 6U in NN & BFQ?) as well but you all know what those look like already.

I'm interested in this TIFFANY keycap set. I hope this hasn't already been aksed. If so, my apologies, I saw what you listed about TKL & 60% board options, do you have plans for a ergo dox and planck key cap set?

Hey William, no one here's ask for it but I plan to include the kits if it goes into a buy :thumb:

Ergodox's & Plancks are on the rise especially with the recent buys on Massdrop.
Uniform keycaps look/work the best on them IMO.
DSA blanks, Granite & 1976 to name a few so it would be a great idea to include them :)

Hell yeah!  I love seeing dox addon kits even if they're blank legends - though I naturally prefer printed.  I dig the SA profile on the dox I'd buy one for sure.

I think massdrop would be great for the sales of this set. Definitely get to a bigger crowd, and one that would probably find this set interesting.

Definitely go for this one bc its brighter than Pulse when he use bright color for alpha set. Keep going man. You're done a good job so far.  :thumb:

Oh **i* it out? Damn I just checked it about 2-3 days ago n he said that'd be sth amazing. I thought he meant a mix set or sth due to the conversations.

So that's really old school style.

I think I'll just stick to this one bc there're many people want to pay what ever it cost to piss MiTo then :))

Not since the 8th, on the 4th saying they'd ask the buying team.

On the 8th I just got a msg saying the support staff will review something.
Not sure what since I got 2 in a row without sending them anything else.

Will put up Planck & ErgoDox kit mockups sometime as well as spacebars tho :thumb:

Any chance of a second left shift appearing in a kit (Odballs) for FC660 users or too late?

It's not too late :) just another 2.25 left shift basically?

Also, I have 0 experience with the Planck & ErgoDox :p
Would something like the Granite Ergo kit be good?
Or blanks, I'll have to look around for a Planck kit tho too.
That is if I do add it, I think it's a good idea but only 1 or 2 ppl have brought it up.

Yep! Just that extra key can be a deciding factor for 660 owners. :thumb:
Cant speak of Planck/Ergodox, no experience either. I always wonder how well those kits sell in GB's.
