Rosewill 9000 (cleaning)
« on: Sat, 18 August 2012, 16:03:23 »
Does anyone know how you can take the keyboard apart? There are two screws on the bottom but i was not able to take apart like that.
Not sure if there are some clips you have to press.
The why is that my wife (really) spilled something in the keyboard and some keys are hard to press as a result. So i just want to clean what ever is making the keys go harder.

Thanks

Under the white sticker in the middle that says O.K. dont remove or whatever is a third screw. Then you pry apart starting at the bottom there are about 4 pins spread out attaching the bottom to top. Its tough i just did it last night. Should check your mini usb connector while you have it open.
Gotta collect them all

Thanks for the information. I actually had the feeling that there is a screw, but that voids the warranty i assume. But at least i can take it apart and clean it from the inside. :) Good to go then.
