I didn't see an update on the function row after this:

TKL kit has been removed and merged into each modifier kit. Simultaneously I removed duplicate function row keys, so instead of having 12 from alphas and 12 from TKL, you will now have 1-4 and 9-12 from Alphas and 5-8 from Modifiers, so only the Sandwich mode as I call it is possible now in the functions row.

But https://oblotzky.github.io/Oblivion/ now shows the alphas with all 12 f-keys so that solid is possible again- is that the current plan? If its not, and theres no way to get a non-striped function row, would it at least be possible to get some R3 blanks?

What you currently see on the project page is almost up2date, more infos on that sometime tonight

I've been on the lookout for a sculpted SA keycap set for a long time now. I have held off buying caps ever since I bought my first mechanical keyboard a few years back. I'm still on the stock DSA's that came with the board.

I think you've done a great job on the standard Hagoromo + Primary Modifiers. There is a nice balance between contrast, and a little splash of color (not too much like Granite and others, where it starts looking like a childrens toy).

Honestly I haven't seen anything as classy since I first came across a Penumbra set. And honestly, this is an improvement. I will definatley be buying a set if I can afford to.

All the updates look fantastic and thanks for listening to feedback. Would have been happy even if you hadn't implemented because you listened, but I'm sure there will be more modifier kit purchases from HHKB-format users, including me. Thanks and can't wait for this to launch!

Love it, the new renders look fantastic and we have a time frame now. Q3 will give my wallet enough time to recover hopefully

I don't mind the Q3, it gives my wallet a break, really. And because the Git mod is making new mold, please make sure (even double check) for the kerning because SP's doubleshot kerning is too terrible.

On a side note, non-git monochrome ortholinear Assembly will be sweet tho

On top of that if you look around on DT and Reddit you will see that .cn group buys usually fail and no one gets a refund. I'll wait for a reputable site to run the buy. I'll take delays over losing money any day.

Pls no. Stahp...if there is a planck / ergodox kit for the GMK version I don't know what I'll do. I'm already planning to get both colors of alphas and so many SA child kits to fit my Let's Split and future Ultimate Hacking Keyboard (which has an...interesting...keycap layout). I might as well hang my wallet from my ceiling and use it as a punching bag from now on.

TBH I don't think the kits look nearly as nice in GMK, not sure what it is but they just lose something in translation for me.  Had the same thought with Penumbra GMK, just something about the transition makes the sets look a bit standard I guess.  I think others sets have made the transition just fine like Carbon, but for whatever reason Penumbra/Oblivion don't grab me in GMK form so I'll just wait the year or however long.

I think this will look sweet in GMK, I don't really like the beige color in gmk profile. The modern profile / retro beige color sort of clash.

And the GMK penumbra mods....  not sure what happened there

There are a few that would (maybe) be interested in doing it, and I'm betting plenty of EU people would really appreciate something like that happening.

Same here.  Don't really like SA for the long term- just getting this because it looks so good.  Would much prefer GMK.
