Those who are waiting for replacement parts, I'm trying to push for that to happen soon. We have a list of what needs to be replaced, and I hope zzyjayfree will be contacting you soon with details. Looks like EVE said that sending in defective parts won't be necessary. I'm really sorry it's taken so long.

From what I know, ninja worked on getting some quotes for local shops (that are USA-based), and all the numbers were pretty high. Not sure what the status of that is at this time.

Did Desko originally come with those nipple F/J homing keys? I thought that was BSP Desko.

Fairly sure my PCB is dead, works for a short time when I plug it in (between 10 secs - 1 min) and then I get 'usb device not recognised'. Have tried re-flashing and re installing the bootloader via isp programmer (the process of which works fine). Any suggestions or suitable alternative pcb recommendations most welcome =].

Having some trouble with my PCB after soldering in-switch LED's. Tested switches after soldering them, they worked fine. About halfway through soldering LED's, I started getting "USB device has malfunctioned". Anyone else had this issue?

Edit: happens both on USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports, tested on 2 PC's.

that screw bridging the two led pads on the iso enter looks concerning... did you use anything to isolate your stab screws from the pcb?

kapton tape is cheap, easy to get, and easy to use. if you shorted the led circuit, who knows what could have happened. i dont think there is any protection in that circuit

I've been talking to EVE directly for the past couple of weeks. He's making replacement parts. I thought that was winding down, but the last message said 3 more weeks. For those who need a top or bottom replacement, he's making both top and bottom parts together for anodized color consistency.

I will be contacting people who need replacements shortly to get up-to-date shipping address information.

Thanks. Yeah I love the way this one turned out. I've been a bit strapped for cash recently though so I've been making a list of things to sell... this keeps making it to the list but every time I look at it... I don't want to sell it :confused:

Eason confirmed that a replacement SS Plate would be sent to me. I sent you a PM on Mon, 15 January 2018, 20:16:46 and you confirmed that it would.

I've just had to remove my previous message as I've figured out what happened. Your order is under different username (reddit), so I didn't remember a PM directly from this account. Yes we do have a replacement SS plate listed for that order.

(To be pedantic, I didn't confirm that you'd get a replacement, I said that zzyjayfree was in contact with EVE about replacement parts and that we were told we would get replacement parts. Of course I very much hope everyone will receive the parts they need ASAP, but I personally have no control over the manufacturer and can't actually confirm that you will get anything.)

I believe the parts are slowly but surely getting made. I don't have any word on when they will actually be shipped. As soon as I know, I will give an update.

(P.S.: tops are made together with bottoms for color consistency).
