　Although I can not say for sure yet, according to ALF's factory, the price of the prototype is $ 200 ~ 230.
　When actually doing GB, it can be lower than the price of the prototype depending on the number of products manufactured.
　(The PC version is expected to be 1.2 to 1.3 times higher than aluminum.)

Schedule
　Ordering prototypes this week.
　It will be manufactured in around 20 days and will be transported internationally.
　It has not been decided until the scheduled GB date, but after the GB of "Uncertainty60" is finished.

A: I'm planning to set up a proxy, but please wait as I haven't talked yet.

A: Sorry, This project is only WKL.

Q: Do you offer a PC model? (Another similar question.)
A: Yes, You can get PC model.

Q: Leave out a PCB to keep costs down.
A: Yes, I have no plans to provide PCBs for this project. Because it is compatible with many 60% PCBs.

Q: I'd like to see some renders with keycaps!
A: Wait, wait....

Q: I want to put a boardwalk PCB inside. The PCB is GH60-compatible & supports WKL cases. I'll just laser cut my own plates & adapts to this case. A DXF file for cutting plates would be useful.
A: When GB is over, publish using Github etc. (The corner rounding is set to 0.5 mm)

Q: Please list estimated price and date of GB!
A: Wait, wait....

Q: Would it be a possibility for a version num/macropad edit
A: There is no design plan for the moment.
If there are many such requests, I consider.

Q: How big is the clearance between the case and the switch hole? Because it looks really tight.
A: The distance from the bottom of the plate to the bottom of the case is approximately 8.8 mm. I think there is probably no interference.

I just received a reply.
The PC version can be provided.
However, it is expected to be 1.2 to 1.3 times higher than aluminum plate.

In ALF's Discord, I realized that the split space bar is important. Fix the plate.
Also, plate data will be released after the end of GB.

The Brutal60 chamfer and the angled back are a weird but interesting combo in my opinion.

Also for an "endgame" keyboard, you expect to see features like a shaped USB cutout and extra attention to detail on the plate, like relief cuts or asymmetric mount points. Obviously nothing wrong with omitting them, but given the current state of keyboard design I don't think you can call it "endgame" unless you're planning to go above and beyond what's come to be standard.

That said, I'm sure the quality will be high and whoever buys it will enjoy it.

Another uneffortful 60% ic. Complete lack of design.

Gigantic weight could have been incorporated in the back in a myriad of different ways but its just flat and boring.

Sounds interesting but can that be a configuration option users can choose vs. a normal GH60-compatible PCB like with the ALF x Scott G60?

That is a difficult place.
Therefore, we also consider providing two types of models.
1: A model corresponding to a generally popular PCB (GH60, GK64, etc.) without drilling a hole for USB in the case. However, PCB is sold separately
2: A model in which the case is made with a hole for USB and the corresponding PCB is attached to the kit

I'm very interested in the board but I feel like a lot of people would appreciate a gasket mounted plate and maybe a more interesting weight design because it does look really bland and without any depth to it right now.

I now want to provide wood models in addition to aluminum models and PC versions. I think trees are beautiful, but many high-end keyboards do not have models using trees.
At the time of Carat WKL's design, it was planned to provide a case using wood, but the ALF plant could not be manufactured with wood. However, ALF's Sirusu is looking for this keyboard factory.

Chipping in 2 cents after being part of the x1.1 group buy.
I would absolutely stay away from this until Alf and team have resolved the outstanding issues with the current group buys.

The quality control was shocking, my PCB still plays up, and they sent the wrong colour.
These issues have either not been acknowledged at all, or for the scratched brass which they committed to replace the timescales keep slipping and slipping.

To run another group buy is absolutely madness.

I'm happy to update my opinion if the issues are addressed, but right now I will not entertain anything more from this manufacturer.
