Afraid not – still sitting on an unbuilt first prototype. Will be receiving my PCBs very soon for a test build then i'll order a second proto

2 Questions

Will there be a custom PCB that’s just similar to Hiney’s H88 or are you just going to order from Hiney himself?

Also, how many units are planned to be made? Will it be FCFS or raffle?

This is all a very new process for me and as such I wanted to test the process in a safer environment. I have funded a private run to "prototype the process" and learn the ins and outs of manufacturing, shipping and all the logistics that go into having more than a proto made. Currently my waitlist is full, but if i reach the end of it and there are still extras left over i will make them available via a public raffle.

I hope to run this again, publicly, but i can't give a date as theres other designs i want to have made too. Until then heres an album of the new proto (im very happy with it) — https://flic.kr/s/aHsmJLJuQh

Looks great, and respectable decision to not rush into a buy, even if it means we'll have to wait a bit more for when a public buy goes live. Silver lining is that when (if?) you do run a public buy, you'd hopefully be more experienced and able to run a bigger run than if you went in blind.

I have some other designs id like to run before a second round of the En Dash so it might not even be 2020 – but that is entirely dependant on the success and timeframe of other goodies
