I didn't get this. If anything the GH60 GB will make this interest check a lot more solid. Far from everyone will be paying hundreds of dollars for aluminum cases/trays.

We have Vortex scared now, that our little DIY project is going to cut into their sales. So why would they want to provide inexpensive housings for what they consider a competing product line?

Interested - but qty depends on price.

The wood / aluminum cases are too heavy for my liking.

vortex cuts their own sales with sub quality products and low stock.  i would never have ventured into building my own boards (something i really like doing now) if they had made better boards that were available for someone with a hole burning in his wallet.

What do you mean? If anything, their sale for these cases should increase. I would integrate this plastic case as a default with the GH60 GB, but we have no way of getting them.

I think they want to sell keyboards, not cases. If they give us cases they are most likely reducing the amount of their upcoming 60% boards they could potentially sell.Sorry for my bad English,I hope it makes sense :)

Disappointing. I don't know the reasons for isolating the GH60 project as being the excuse for lack of fulfilment for this IC, but even if there were only 20 cases available, I'm sure they would find 20 happy homes.

It's cause the GH60 project directly competes with their business.

^This.

Personally, I've accumulated two Poker PCBs and stainless steel backplates, so I need some sort of case to make these into functional keyboards. This option looked like the cheapest one on offer, guess I'll have to scout the classifieds to see if anyone is selling off their used cases.

If there were 33 cases available, they would never leave Hong Kong. Ahahahahaha!

:D

GH60 is stated as the reason, because it IS the reason. What other keyboard are you gonna put in this case, a Pure Pro or Tex Beetle?

Yes, sorry.
He started the IC saying he would be able to sell a "few" cases, then 100, and then later he said that 150 was kinda too low.
I'm new in GH and I don't wanna be rude but it's weird, IMHO ...
