The novelties kit is really robust. If there isn't a dedicated ortho wavez group buy later on then I think I can make do with just the base, novelties and spacebar kits. As long as there's a 2u spacebar somewhere in there.

Looking forward to the group buy phase. Is there a timeline yet? I imagine there's still some color-matching and pricing that'll need to be worked out.

The thing is that I'll propose 5 kits without using Massdrop as a vendor which is already quite a lot, and let's be honnest, 40 kit won't make it.
I sincerly wish I can propose it aswell, I want to make you guys happy but this hobby contains Niches in a Niche, e.g ergo and 40 users... so yeah it's almost impossible to make everyone happy in My scenario...

if you just assume a 40s kit won't make it you'll **** it up and it'll fail

Kinda shame that the icon bottom row is no longer a thing, it looks better to have all icons than icons + bottom text IMO. Also I fear for split numpad's MOQ.

Once again the decision between icon mods/text mods wasnt easy at all, but since I can't propose an Icon mod kit I had to make some choices, Most set have that combo Icon + text for bottom row, so it was very logical for me to do that, and TBH if you use novelties for the bottom row it's kind of a "full icon mod" set

Yep, IMO this set doesn't make much sense to buy without the awesome novelties    You'll have to combo them with some text because there's not enough for standard bottom row but it should work.

Not really, of course the novelty pack will be a bit expensive if we don't hit the 150 MOQ but something a bit more than 150 euros is definetly possible.
