Got another FC980M

Surely not another one.
Yeah my daily driver is pretty dirty, so time for another one.

Actually got this a few days ago, but haven't had a chance to post it.
Finally got my first Fugthulu!

It's the Caconym colorway from the March Marbles raffle & honestly one of the most beautiful caps I've seen! The sculpting, casting, & marbling are all off the charts with this cap! Thankfully I manged to get this guy for only a little bit over retail, but now that I have seen it irl, I get why some of these guys are fetching $200 to $300 a pop on the secondhand market.

Nice. I'm debating getting the MX Master 3

I actually stopped using it after a day. Been using a G502 for the past few years, and been wanting to try the Master. The Master is nowhere near as precise as the G502, so I swapped back.

I see. Question: for what do you need such precision? Can you describe a bit more? Like I've used my old MX Master gen 1 for gaming and also productivity and have been okay with it, but just wonder how someone else would feel it falls short relative to other alternatives

It's not really anything big. I do a lot of work with dual monitors and I swap back and forth. I guess I'm just used to the fine-tuned G502. It's snappy and precise, and I feel that it glides just perfectly for me. The default DPI I have it at is 2650.
So when I started using the Master and realized it didn't have the same fine-tuning software as the G502 I swapped back. I mean, if I can tune the settings as much as the G502 I'd probably give it another chance.

Gotcha. Thanks for the insight, man! Maybe it's just a matter of comfort vs perceived performance. So far I've had good experiences with Logitech mice.

Yeah if you use mouse 3 to open tabs n stuff you prolly won't like the Master 3. Returned mine since that's like the one button you can't change on it.

It's not as precise as a gaming mouse like rome said, I picked the G903 in the end for desktop use.

I'm not sure whether this is what people call buying in or selling out. I grabbed all the artisans that looked like they fit with the colorway on mechanicalkeyboards. Even got the shirt with it (which fits well)

Warning: Image Quality (and apparently upside down...)
