Keyboard of the Month - December - Nominations
« on: Wed, 19 December 2018, 05:41:01 »
Welcome everyone to the delayed December thread for Keyboard of the Month nominations.

The November vote thread has just gone live, so we haven't got a winner yet, but we can just get this running.

This thread will be open for about three weeks to allow for the holiday period.

Thank you all for your patience while I'm a total train wreck.
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

+1

Would have been +2 if yellow instead of orange :p
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I have rotation schedules and I also type an immense amount daily due to work reasons, so I enjoy them quite a lot, very frequently! Also, it may seem like I acquired all these at once, but it really hasn't been that way. I've just managed to finally squeeze in time to document them properly and do them some justice.

+1 for Proximity's KMAC 1.2 and +1 for lightning's no.1.

Man, December was a bad month to decide to post all my boards.

+1 for proximity's Kmac, Hayt's QXP and Lighting's No.1. Jer is a beautiful board and it's themed so perfectly but can't +1 everything Lightning puts out, it'll go to his head. :D
