Orange is good in short doses because of how strong a color it can be, but in the mix with dark grey in Skidata.... It's a timeless classic.

No, they are not shine-through. They have a removable transparent top under which you can place a little piece of paper with a printed legend. (You can print whatever you want. You provide the paper and you print the legend).

Here's a good image of a Skidata board. You can't take the plastic off and put it on another cap.

Personally, I'll put shortcuts in programs on mine. I do a bit of music production so I'll have commands that are either inside menus or long key commands so that it makes production more efficient for me.

Previous skidata GMK runs had sublegends so I suspect this run will too, like the renders imply. I agree though, looks better without sublegends.

We made that choice to keep the prices low. You can get orange spacebars to compliment on Oco.

I just noticed a different numpad sign legend between the base kit and the orange modifier.
Base kit use an old slash (/) and asterisk (*) legend, meanwhile Orange modifier kit use the newer obelus (÷) and multiplication (x) sign.
Are those intentional?

You can get orange spacebars to compliment on Oco.

I got Base and Orange Mod just ago.  The actual Orange Mod numpad sign legend was printed according to the rendering.

Just realized something on the v2 accent kit. The Insert and PageUp keys need to be added in order to use the set as an accent for 1800-style layouts (both Cherry and Leopold). Maybe if future kits are run these 2 keys can be added.
