Even though scripting and automation are a huge part of my job, I wouldn't script entry into clack sales. I feels like it goes against the spirit of CC's sale and like I would be giving the middle finger to the rest of the community.
This. I briefly considered writing some sort of script to help with this, or, at least, alert me when he unlocked the thread. However, I quickly realized that would make me a huge **** and remove 99% of the fun, so I just quit before even really trying.
I also considered writing a simple script that just posts a cURL request to the radnelac thread, but then still manually watching for the thread to open and run the script myself... but then, headers, cookies, effort... this is just more fun
. Half the fun is when you accidentally click the "artisan services" link when spamming Post because avatars are still loading!
