Cooler Master CM Storm Xornet 2 thoughts?

So I've been thinking about getting the cm storm spawn for a while now but it seems to be discontinued and noticed the spawn 2 came out to my surprise, I have the original xornet at the moment and one of the main features I love about it is the shape and the fact it doesn't have either acceleration or prediction? Do we know whether or not the new xornet 2 has either of those?

Seems like a good mouse..

Price will be the deciding factor here..

And the g303 has a better sensor and logitech engineering..



But the Xornet does have a Omron Japan in the picture..


Nope, it's D2FC,  so no Japan Omron in Xornet II..

Agh...... damn the middle mouse button isn't omron either.. and not swappable due to clearance with the LED board..

So, this mouse is not moddable to FULLY omron without sacrificing the Front wheel led..

Hrrrm.. actually, it might be possible If you cut off the front cable peg on the housing..

Yea.. I think it should fit in reverse...





Every thing else about it is pretty well laid out..

The coolermaster website has a picture of Japan Omron, but the picture from the disassembly doesn't..

Guess they forgot.. '

I've had it, no accel or prediction. it's a good mouse. scroll wheel is pretty sturdy too, compared to the first Xornet.

Ah thanks! Super useful, honestly the first Xornet is my fave mouse shape of all time, ordered it today! So excited

Actually they have to release an updated 3360 SPAWN and watch all the youngsters, flock to it in droves.
