Would it be possible to have a different option/logo for the gold badge above the arrow cluster? I think it would look a lot cleaner if you integrated the “C3” or “ZERO” branding rather than using the current characters, especially to Western markets.

Of course,we could give another badge saying Zero for sure. Thanks for the advice.

Whats the weight of the board with everything installed?

Also would you be able to order the plate as poly carbonate instead of the brass?

What positioning for the connector?
WKL-only, or will there be a no-blockers option?

Is the plate design a prototype or final? It looked like it could only accept stepped caps lock.

Could we get the same badge?
No need to use titanium.
Aluminium badge would still be fine.

It's final and it support normal capslock and stepped. It's just put in the wrong place so it looked like only stepped lock

Thirded. The badge sitting a little more flush with the case and being a little less prominent would be nice too.

I have heard that polycarbonate is a hard material to work with which results in a very fragile keyboard, possible alignment issues, etc. (see Polaris GB). Have you encountered any of these issues during your prototyping? Do you have concerns regarding this?

It's a very hard material to work indeed. It easily bend after CNC. We have working on it since last November. Tried a lot of different Poly carbonate and a lot different ways to CNC them. The Top case and bottom is not  aligned like aluminium case, etc. Fortunately,we have solve most of the problems. The only thing that not perfect is the alignment between top and bottom case. That being said, you could hardly see the problem, only if you touch it very carefully you can feel a little bit of it.And a lot of aluminium cases have this problem as well. This is nearly impossible to solve for a TKL. Rest assure we won't run something that have a lot problems we can't solve. It's too bad for our Brand. We value our brand more than profits.

Are the pics that you've shared of the prototype? Can't figure it out plus, any pics of the back and the USBC connector area?

Thank you for the thorough response. It’s unfortunate PC is so troublesome to work with (at no fault of your own, it’s just the nature of the material). I will definitely be in for a board though, your efforts are much appreciated!

Will you show us what the final badge will be before going in for gb phase? Also, would you have an option for pc plate instead of brass?

Will we have shipping estimates before the group buy starts? Also, can the gb time be extended by a week if possible? I'm unsure if I could pay the invoice in time depending on when the GB starts and ends. (Aug 19th is the earliest I could pay)

Of course we will show it when GB phase. If the demand is high,i can give a PC plate in the kit with no price change. And sell half PC plate is anyone is interested.

My experience tells me the shipping cost would from 25-40 depend on where you are. We ship it from China and US/Korea have the cheapest shipping Fee. You can discuss payment time when GB is live with me. PM me when GB started,Thank you

Good article. Poly carbonate do have its own limit. Especially shape change after CNC. It's a Hugh pain in the ass. Luckily we have found the right materiel provider and right way to machine them.

Look the bright side. The look of it is just so good that we can refuse it.  ;D ;D ;D

Actually,i am not a fan of engrave letters on a board. Just too plain looks bad. I think we will pass that on this one. Maybe next time.

I think the letter on top is fantastic. I am really love it myself. :D :D :D

em... H87a is probably the most "universal" TKL pcb there is right now. H87a page links to a compatibility chart and mentions boards that aren't compatible (it won't work with commercial TKL boards).

That said - I have no idea if H87a PCB will work (more like fit) with C3 boards. It probably doesn't really matter as LDN series PCB has USB-C, RGB lighting and is fully programmable. Even googled a bit (c'mon guys, do a bit of research before asking questions) and it looks like LDN TKL pcbs support all the usual layouts (WK/WKL/ISO/split backspace).

like that much better.

If the weight and badges are both sandblasted, is it possible to do a sandblasted plate as well? I'd prefer sandblasted brass over pvd so they match.

I suppose I could take it to my cerakote place and have them sandblasted it.

All the brass part will be PVD. Just different finish. It's nearly impossible to cover the tool mark for the letters, there goes sandblast. We tried mirror finish and not turned out perfect. And as for your questions, we wont do a sandblasted plate because with PC case and RGB pcb, mirror brass plate will be more beautiful. And offer another plate is just too much.

Yes, the fee will be (320+shipping)x4.4%. I think most GBs are like this.

Are there any universal pcb that would fit this left corner usb pcb?
What do you mean? I am totally lost here...

I was just wondering if there are any universal pcbs like h87a that fit certain tkl keyboards.

I saw the compatibility spreadsheet where it says Equalz ZERO is theoretically compatible.. any updates on that?

Dude... Like if there's no updates in the spreadsheet than how could anyone except C3Ears update you on a board that's still in GB? Buy the board, find out for yourself and let Hiney know if it's compatible or not.
