I bought the Terra Pro during their preorder/funding campaign and have no regrets. I have been using the Terra Pro daily since April last year. It is a solid mouse and far out my favorite of my 15+ mouse collection. So much so that last black friday I used a deal from Teevolution and bought a second one for only €50. For me the shape is awesome, an ergo shape for larger hands. The shape is a Logitech G703 clone.
It has also received lots of praise from mouse reviewers. So definitely a recommendation.
I’ve never used the Teevolution Terra Pro personally, but from what I’ve seen:
The Zowie EC2‑DW 4K is widely regarded as extremely reliable, with great wireless performance and simple, no‑nonsense build quality — which matches your experience with the older EC2 wired models. Many users prefer it specifically because it just works without gimmicks.
The Terra Pro looks promising on paper, especially for the price, and some users say it’s decent for casual use or budget wireless. However, it doesn’t have nearly the same level of community feedback or proven long‑term reliability as Zowie in competitive use. Also software/firmware support and durability over years are less established.
If your priority is long‑term reliability, performance consistency, and competitive feel, the Zowie EC2‑DW 4K is probably the safer choice — especially since you already trust the brand.
If you’re willing to take a bit of a risk for a lower price and don’t care as much about top‑tier competitive performance, the Terra Pro could be worth trying — but it’s not as vetted as the Zowie.
