Title: My wifes response to my new cherry blues
Post by: YetAnotherDeveloper on Tue, 25 January 2011, 13:50:56
So i picked up a razer balckwidow basic while i wait for EK.com to get the new boards in stock; it was on sale and was cheap so i couldnt help myself... it showed up this morning in the mail and after typing on it for a few mins my wife; who is in the living room sent me this video in an email. My wife is a dancer (modern not pole) and just a few months ago she did a performance that had this song in it. she just wanted to tell me that my typing sounds like a song!

Thats kewl. At least you know she doesn't find it annoying, and it sorta adds to the atmosphere.

Kinda like when you walk into a bar, and you find the sounds with the background music enjoyable and relaxing.

The sound of typing is good for emulating the steps, as in the video.

On Youtube, some people find typing sounds very relaxing, and even use it as the lullaby in sleepless nights. Perhaps their parents had used a mechanical keyboard near their bed in the past, and now they want to re-live that enjoyable experience.

Like a song, huh?

been a while since we had mingo around here.

Someday one of us should hunt and rip a copy of his "hard work" vinyl. Probably only made a few though.

That's an interesting typing noise in there. I'd say it's an AT101W or at least something similar (AEKII?)... tactile but non-clicky mechanical, plate-mounted.
