****, clothing is expensive. I have/Want to (More want, but I still need something) a suit and things for a wedding.

dress boots + belt = $330 including shipping (I need a new pair of boots, so it's not that bad.)

$400 suit + alterations + tie = $550

Plus a couple dress shirts =???, probably $150 total


Just kill my wallet why don't you. at least I'll have something a bit more quality for future uses, I'd say $200 more is better in the long run than a jcrew factory suit, but still. Ouch.

I'll have one nice thing to wear out of my closet at least.

Because I don't like tight things gripping my ankles... And it would also prevent me from wearing them out of the house which I don't want to do because it's lazy. I also just don't like the look of them.

Just rent a lot of that?  I think such an option is often available.

A good suit is invaluable though. If you have a good one, you can continue wearing it for years.

Source: I only have three suits I've worn on a rotation for the last 10 years. Helps if your body shape doesn't change much over time as well.

But the card should be more than fine; and even if they did have an issue they should've asked me to change the payment type as they usually do. They just straight up canceled it.
I emailed them about it; waiting to hear a response.
