To be honest, it's not really fair to claim that you've sold 1500 units of your keyset if you have a 1u blank key as a child deal  . Joking aside, well done on making your keyset a success especially for your first design.

I went on my first pilgrimage to Microcenter yesterday and got a great price on an open-box Ducky with lovely, "work safe" blacks.  Hopefully, I'll be faster than 18 WPM on Colemak by the time the set arrives...

I'm new to this kind of stuff so as a owner with a 60% keyboard I'm currently checking out the 60% stripe and I see no difference between that and the regular stripe on the base kit.

Is there something I'm not aware about before I put in my order?

60% stripe is row 3 profile to better match artisan caps, while the standard kit has row 1 for that row (much more sculpted profile)

I am so very tempted to buy into this! I do love the SA profile very much, however the only thing that might be holding me back is that the colour scheme looks very dark overall. Is the blue a very vibrant one? Does it contrast well with the chosen black colour? I do have a black body keyboard that I'd put this one which I assume would go well with this colour scheme.
Also, this seems to be a very good price for SA profile keycaps, correct? Don't most other SA sets go for at least $90-100?

Well it's black, so... yeah it's kinda dark overall.  That's kinda the point.  If the BBQ blue doesn't look bright to you, you may need to adjust your monitor.  This set has excellent contrast.

If you miss PuLSE you'll most likely regret it because it looks like exactly what you want by reading your description. BBQ is bright and has excelent contrast with black. This is the cheapest SA keyset ever done.

Just join us, believe me, because I'm 100% sure that you're going to regret missing it.

That's just how it works, unfortunately. If more people would sign up at the beginning, the price would drop, and bring in even more orders. But people like to wait until the last minute, to see if the price drops.

And then they complain when they miss the buy, and try to get in late...

If PMK had a feature like Mass Drop to pick which price point you'd buy in at, they could sell a few more sets earlier on, and that would help.  I'm not sure how difficult that would be to add, but I'd love to see such a feature.

Yeah, the newbs always have to find out the hard way first, they'll now know that PMK Group Buys operate this way and will continue to.  Hence waiting till the last second to buy-in usually means missing out.

Don't worry there will always be another Group Buy to come along, those that have missed out will need to wait for the next key-set beauty to show itself  .
