Inspiration
Throughout various cultures, lavender is represented in food, drinks, and fashion.
GMK Lavender is inspired by these uses throughout the world, as well as the flower’s calming color.
I chose a more muted shade of lavender for this set to reflect how this color is used in modern culture and fashion.

That said, to me the wreath novelty looks a bit like a hood or a bonnet being tied by a bow. I'm wondering if it's because on a wreath the bow is usually on top of whatever the wreath is made of rather than tying it together.

- In base, drop ISO-UK keys and/or numpad 00 in favor of a second 1u Alt and 2× 1.5u Super keys, for Mac and OG HHKB bottom row support. You can read about the reasoning behind this suggestion here (https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=109035.msg2968143#msg2968143) (second bullet point).
Alternatively, add the extra 1u Alt and 2× 1.5u Super keys to the extensions kit. - In extensions, change R3 1u Tab to Code, and add a second R4 1u Shift key (reasoning (https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=108764.msg2962435#msg2962435)).
Alternatively, instead of adding a second 1u Shift, you can add a generic-legend 1u key such as Meta, Data or Hack. This key would be able to work as both second Shift, second Ctrl or a Fn2 key for ortho boards. - Let's talk spacekeys. Your spacebars kit currently has mod-colored (light purple) spaces, which aren't commonly used at all; yet it is missing 1.25u and 1u spacekeys.
- 1.25u space is used on Alice-like boards (2u+1.25u left space) and standard split 6.25u space configurations (2.25u+1.25u+2.75u and 2.75u+1.25u–2.25u).
- 1u space is used on Alice-like boards (2.25u+1u left space) and standard split 7u space configurations (3u+1u+3u).
- On a related note, I don't think you need 3u spaces in both white (extensions kit) and dark purple (spacebars kit). Just like 6u, this size isn't common enough to warrant including both variants. It's probably a good idea to remove one of the two pairs.
- It might be a good idea to add one 1.75u space to the extensions kit, for staggered 40% boards such as Vortex Core, JD40, JD45, Prime_L. (The latter three use 2× 1.75u, but the R4 1.75u Lock key is able to substitute for one of the spaces.)
It might also be a good idea to add a second 2u space for ortho users who prefer 2× 2u space layouts. - The katakana alphas kit looks great.

Any chance you can add the Cyberboard purple to the renders? Since they are delivering soon it would help anyone with purple board visualize the set on it.
I would love to but I believe the cyberboard isn't free to use for renders. If you're looking for some renders on a purple board, you can check out the Mode Eighty renders, it's actually a dark, dark purple.

I definitely considered running this set with icon mods, but I think the text mods suit the elegant theming a bit better and allow the novelties designs to stand out more.

Thanks for the feedback, I am planning on doing an ANSI Enter nov. We didn't want to do a lavender laying flat because it'd look like we forced a vertical design into a horizontal one, we are experimenting with a couple of perspectives and designs for the ANSI nov, stay tuned for more.

Menu is not a valid replacement for Fn — it doesn't make sense. However, the opposite (Fn as Menu) can somewhat work. If I were you, I'd change the Menu to Fn; here's why:
- Fn is the more common legend, used on a wide variety of boards and sizes. Menu has limited uses, primarily for “standard”/non-programmable TKL and full-size boards with 6.25u bottom rows. But in these cases, Fn is a viable replacement for it, whereas Menu isn't really a viable replacement for Fn in other cases.
- Fn is also more popular overall, so it would be the preferred legend choice here.
- The alternative would be to add a R4 1.25u Fn key alongside the Menu key, but I think there's no need for that since Fn can substitute for Menu, as described above.

Hmm, I suppose I never considered having the white as an accent, but that brings up a great point. I will take that into account with the upcoming changes.

Are you sure about that? The 1u \|ム key is supposed to be R3, as pictured in the render, not R4. This is in order for the ISO/JIS kana compatibility in the kit to be correct (which is the reason why some of the other keys are in that kit to begin with). In other words, the current placement of that key in the render is totally correct.
What you could do, if you want to have pipe on R4 in the katakana kit so it matches its position in the base kit, is change the R3 \|ム, R4 <>ロ keys to R3 #~ム, R4 \|ロ, respectively. But this would require two new molds to be produced, and you would potentially have to communicate it with MiTo (who is the original author of the katakana subs that you're using) to get the vectors sorted out with GMK.
That being said, in my opinion, it's fine the way it is. White accents are an interesting prospect, though.

I see a R3 pipe key and a R4 "<>" key in Alt alphas kit but these are not in base kit. I believe these 2 keys can be good in base since they stand for ISO US. If I were you, I would consider replacing ISO UK in base with ISO US to reduce some keys and potentially reduce some bucks. This change will upset ISO UK users tho :blank:.
Only problem with this is that there are wayyyy more ISO UK users than ISO US users. I would only be satisfying a few people by dissatisfying many unfortunately.

I'm surprised a vintage perfume bottle silhouette was not included in the novelties. That's the first thing i think of when I hear "lavender". That, lotion, then the actual plant/flower.
Yeah it was an idea in the beginning actually, but it became difficult to convey “perfume bottle” in a vector format without it being confused with all sorts of other things. Currently we’re tinkering with throwing out the bow novelty for a lavender in a vase design.

Can you add a R3 1u pipe key "\|" to the base kit like you did with the alt alphas please? So the base can cover both iso UK and US at the same time, it's just one small key. Also you already have 2 stunning ISO enter novelties so I think this key will do very well with this set.

Hi yeah, this is an idea I have really been considering adding because I think a lot of people identify lavender with the scent, and candles would visually be a good nod to that.

Please consider! I love this set and would hate to skip yet another because it dropped 40s. The large kit is great but even if it remained I'm skeptical that it would reach MOQ.

Text+icon was necessary for running a set with sublegends in a different language. Having both base kits match in the mods was also important to me, mismatching mods wouldn’t have been a great look. It’s essentially two different sets at that point.
Keeping accent arrows and bars out of base kits was done to keep prices lower. Hope you can understand that reasoning!

Since the numpad kit is separated from the base kits, there is no alt version of those keys to match with the Rabendra kit.

So in order to keep things as simple as possible, I decided to treat the alternate base kit as more of a novelty option. If I had tried to kit for the alt base with entirely the same compatibility as the standard base kit, it would have ended with either a more expensive base kit than I am okay with or far too many kits than I am okay with running (because they likely would not reach MOQ).
I hope you can understand that reasoning!
