AT&T Unix PC Keyboard?
« on: Sat, 27 January 2018, 12:18:44 »
I'm fascinated by this particular keyboard.  Looks like the same layout as the PC-7300 keyboard, but look a the amazing keycaps on this sucker:

Also not sure of those switches.  Converting it would be way over my head, but I think it's beautiful.

Wow, that's a unique design, all right! Quite eye-catching.

The switches are very interesting—rubber domes, but above the case top? And I wonder if those stems are close enough to Cherry-style crosses that the keys could be used on another board?

Research.  I believe it's a teletype board.  Here's a similar one that HaaTa reviewed.  Although I think the switches are different b/c I don't see the rubber domes on his

I really like this keyboard, as far as how it looks.  It really reminds me of the MiTo Canvas XDA keycaps.

Yeah, they are really pretty.  I wish SP could do a finish like this.  Their caps are just a bit too rough/dry

Nice!  Line feed is used to push the paper on the printer out one line.  You can do this several times in order to get to the end of the 'page' (dot matrix paper had perforations in the rolls at specific increments).
