Any plates that were ordered with PCBs, will be shipped with their PCBs. This GB has concluded. You may contact me with the information below

02/13: MOQs met for both plates.
02/15: Preparing production.
02/19: Production expected to complete in about 2 weeks.
02/21: Carbon Fiber production complete.
02/25: CF arrived. QC Passed. Ready to ship.
03/09: 2nd Round CF: QC Failed. Few plates were bent. Being redone.
03/11: Polycarbonate CNC finished. Tolerance QC Passed.

03/11: Clear polycarbonate plates (before cleaning/deburring)

Tolerance check: 14mm:

02/15: CF plate sample pictures:

Clean cuts and good slot tolerances (would not recommend yok/red panda housing though)

Lines up perfectly with brass plate and pcb.

Added caps lock support to gb run.

02/19: Plate production expected to complete in about 2 weeks (slightly ahead of schedule)

No PCB+plate combos? And just for clarification, the PC is clear and in no way frosted? I'll probably grab one either way but wanted to double check.

Current IC for pcb offers limited quantity of about 30-35 units. About half of the ic form responses were from alice owners. Also, the demand for alice plates existed from puddsys IC. I could offer to ship the pcbs together with the plates if that works better for you.

Yes, the polycarbonate will be clear.

Given that there are about 50 alices out in the wild, I wouldn't mind moving into production if we are already at MOQ and orders stop coming in.

Carbon Fiber = hard.

Polycarbonate = not as hard.

Just a quick update: I appreciate the tremendous support from the community, and I will guarantee that PC MOQ will be met. Also, I updated the order numbers in the original post. I have a CF sample coming shortly because I wanted to make sure the plates didn't require "de-burring"

I'm very glad to hear this! I'll desolder my Alice pcb this next week to change the switches and I'm much more relieved to do that knowing that I'll get a new pcb, you know, just in case...

They're still in transit

but they should be here hopefully soon. If you're on the fence on whether or not to order the CF, I will have a few extras in case anyone missed out or really needs to see a picture before committing to CF. Shoot me PM.

Few updates:
- I added stepped & regular caps-lock support. If you are strongly against this idea, let me know. It shouldn't affect the aesthetics like split backspace support.
- We only got a few hours left, but I'm going to reach out to my shop to get these in queue for production before the weekend.
- Sample of the CF plate came in. Please, see second post.
