frequency trace, around 23-28 hz there's a bit of crackle/ pop,  then later at 36-40,

It doesn't seem like blown amp, maybe there's some sort of filter ?

Mine did this a while back.
It was insufficiently shielded against newer wifi routers.

I moved things around, re-wired I even replaced my router, which only complicated things, I even put magnetic chokes on everything. Once I finally figured it out I traced back when it started and it was when I got the router before last, not only was it stronger but at some point I had moved it and my UPS around a bit. Even using the old router would no longer stop it hence making it harder to troubleshoot. For the moment my fix was to place a space industrial 48 port switch between the router and speaker to block the wifi signal reaching the speaker (I basically killed everything on that side). Yeah, a bit silly and overkill but it was handy and worked.  Guess I should work on something more permanent though.

What finally clued me in was that it happened mostly when I was using the laptop, it happened other times due to various things but it was at it's worst when I moved a large file over wifi.

Subwoof came, dat ghetto r12sw that's always on sale for like 3 years straight.

Pretty deep but... 12 inch can only do so much.  At low volumes it's quite tight, But obviously not enough for 100db performance. (Not that Tp4 uses it for that)

Hrrrrrm... Maybe Tp4 should buy a second one for stereo bass ? it would give alot more surface area for the 20hz-s

problem of course, they won't be a stereo match at all, though maybe that doesn't really matter for subwoofers.

got harddrives in the same room though, too much bass isn't good for them.

NE1 do multiple subs , worth it ?
