Teardown - 3D-printed magnetic levitation "Void" switches!
« on: Mon, 12 July 2021, 15:27:19 »
This is one of the most impressive things I've ever seen. Someone 3D-printed magnetic levitation switches with adjustable tactility and travel. Also, it's analog-Hall effect. And hot-swappable. And it's contactless. Jeez! The creator is called Riskable and he called them Void switches and I'm DEFINITELY keeping an eye on this project!

When production starts I will buy a set! The dampener was next level quite and function.

That is an amazing switch and is without a doubt one of the most impressive 3d printed things I've seen in a long time.
It's hard to really surprise me with 3d printing at this point and that just blew my mind, such a well thought out simple design.*

Anyone have a link to this project?

*Simple in appearance. This is an instance where something is so well engineered that it hides it's true complexity.
