My knees hurt pretty much constantly, and my groin still hurts from when I pulled it in July. I thought I was over this chronic pain BS.

Eat some fried chicken.. feel better..

Only fried chicken I really like is my mom's, but maybe I'll go get some chicken fried steak tomorrow. I got some gift cards to a restaurant that has pretty decent ones.
Maybe they're waiting for gasmasks and latex to get sexy again.

The world has become a weird place.

Slept 5 hours tonight and for me that's not enough.
I need around 8 hours to be productive.
Yet I can't sleep. Sleeping troubles are just such an annoyance.

I'll have to try some Popeye's (I don't think I've had it before). The problem with most restaurant fried chicken is that it has tooth shatteringly hard batter over it that instantly slides off when I attempt to cut it or bite it; Charlie's Chicken is an exception. My mom's recipe creates a dark brown, thin, soft, slightly charred breading - hard to describe - and the gravy is really thick. Maybe it's the difference between pan frying and deep frying.

Anyway, I went against my better judgment and got the chicken fried chicken instead of the chicken fried steak at the restaurant, and it was mostly disappointing. This place used to be a chain, but it shut down about a year ago. The manager of this particular location got permission to reopen this one location, and it hasn't been quite as good since, despite everything being made from scratch now.
Maybe they're waiting for gasmasks and latex to get sexy again.

I get that for most of the summer.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

That is because you live in Victoria. It is hard to sleep when you live in the live action version of the original Fallout.

It's like every time I do what I'm supposed to or work hard and put a ton of effort into something lately, it ALWAYS turns out poorly. People say if you try you can do anything, or if you are driven and motivated and make all the right moves good things will happen. But I spent this entire year, all of 2018 doing these responsible and supposedly life essential things to slowly work towards a goal, but over the last 12 months everything keeps getting progressively worse in terms of things out of my control.

So I am more driven and putting in more effort than I have in years, maybe decades, doing all the right things, greasing all the right palms, revamping my resume, getting tech certs, learning skills, and all-around pushing myself and I am nearly in the same exact spot I was almost 15 years ago. I don't think it's me, it can't be because I'm doing all the right things. I just don't understand life's RNG anymore, it just doesn't add up why I keep constantly failing. When I was younger I could put in minimal effort and get immensly positive feedback/results, but now that I'm trying harder than ever all I get now is constantly **** upon. I just don't get it.

No, I went to a different restaurant and got fried chicken. I usually get the chicken fried steak at said restaurant. I've never had Popeye's but admitted that I should try it next time based on your recommendation.

Anyway, I don't think the fried chicken helped my mood necessarily, but I told my Karate instructor that I need to take some time off because of a couple injuries, which eliminated a lot of anxiety. He was understanding, but he's suspended class because of it since there would only be two students without me. That made me feel a little guilty, but whatever; I really need the break to heal.

Ah ok..

If you do make it to a popeyes, go very slightly after Lunch time, for the freshest chicken.

You can even REQUEST that the chicken be out of the fryer, tell them you want to experience popeyes for the first time properly, they will understand.. (you will just have to stand there and wait a little.)

Try not to go to popeyes in a rich neighborhood, their chicken rate is slower and not as fresh.

You want to go to a popeyes near a low/middle income neighborhood because they will sell out fast during lunch time, and typically be on a latest batch.

Make sure to try the Cajun Rice, Mash Potatoes, and at least a dozen biscuits. Biscuits are like currency.. I've read that popeyes biscuits were exchanged for drugs on occasion, that's how Good they are..

It must be location specific, because Popeye's chicken has been super dry and thin every time I've gotten it. Like hard and stringy thin pieces of breaded chicken.

I hear Bojangle's is really good, but idk where they are in the US. Chick-fil-A or Church's does in a pinch (although you are FAR better off making your own fried chicken 100% of the time.) People around here like this place called Ezell's but personally I don't like how their oil tastes, they use some weird oil that makes it taste fishy.

Contrary to popular belief,  Rich peeps are addicted to THINGS at roughly the same rate as poor people.

The only difference is, a Rich person has multiple potential outlets for addiction, as he can afford it,  he can do shopping, prostitution, cocaine, sports car.

Whereas the p00r-person like TP4, can only afford to be addicted to food and nothing else..

This is the primary reason accounting for the difference in obesity/ overweight statistic.

Everyone runs on the same hedonic systems loop

I remember some bad Boston neighborhoods had bulletproof glass with rotating platforms like a high security bank in their KFC. And they had a soda size that was literally a ****ing bucket of soda.

Church's Chicken vary too (not even comparable to the run of the mill Chick-fil-As in my area). The St. Augustine Church's Chicken has nothing on the East Gainesville Church's Chicken. Only my two cents of course. Thinly breaded, not too moist not too dry. Sides are decent too. How one is able to make some tendies better than Church's Chicken tendies is beyond my abilities as a chef.

Dude compares Church's Chicken with Chick-Fil-A like they're even on the same playing field.. wtf is wrong with this world? Can you even order a side of fried okra at a Chick-Fil-A? I'm literally shaking write now.

CFA is always super clean and the staff has to say 'My Pleasure' after every thank you, so it's fun to see how many My Pleasure's you can rack up. My record is 9.
Also a good place to stock up on sauce

I remember some bad Boston neighborhoods had bulletproof glass with rotating platforms like a high security bank in their KFC. And they had a soda size that was literally a ****ing bucket of soda.

Yea, they have that at the Harlem popeyes as well..

But these places got the Freshest Top Chicken..

All I'm reading at this point is, "blah blah blah, inferior chicken this, inferior chicken that." It's fine. Some people just wont listen to wisdom.

I didn't leave my apartment enough to find a Fort Lauderdale area chicken spot. I'm sure there were/are some good ones though.

Last time I went, I finally got a "You're welcome." I feel like a bastard, but I try not to say "Thank you" when I go there. It's not my job to pleasure the staff.
Maybe they're waiting for gasmasks and latex to get sexy again.

The world has become a weird place.

The spicy deluxe sandwich is worth pleasuring the workers for.

Where on this anatomically correct waffle did the worker enhance it..

Sometimes I want a trip to the US just to see **** like this.
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

Unemployment has finally caught up and I cannot afford my rent this month. I don't know what I'm going to do.

I've already sold off a lot of stuff the last few months and borrowed from family. Been eating mostly ramen and dollar microwave meals for months.

Gonna have to start selling off the things I actually care about now, kinda out of options at this point.

Please don't let 2019 somehow be worse than 2018. It just can't be.

**** option and I've had to use it extensively but have you tried temp agencies or day labor? It sucks horribly but is better than having to sell stuff you care about. The labor stuff is especially tough when you're used to working indoors using your brain. I found concrete work to be quite demanding. Building swimming pools is something I'd rather not do again, or concrete work in general.
