This set looks awesome!
Yet another sign that I need to give Macross a watch.

Also you should consider that their profile will allow the alphas to be moved around, thus the set will be a good resource to try different layout other than ANSI.

Hmm, this set might actually give me a reason not to sell my Filco.

Might have to make a keycap out of the head from my vf-1s model to go with this set. Definitely will be in on this.

If everyone wants DCS then so be it.  It's what the public wants then you have to deliver it.

Hope it all works out perfectly for you.  But then again it's Matt3o here so it should be flawless  :thumb: .

Sorry didn't mean to cause any strife with your future group buy, took something and everything is kind of off-kilter at this moment in time.  Please forgive, my mistake.

It was my fault because I knew he was doing a DCS version but I forgot which key-set he was doing it in.  BECAUSE matt3o never lists the front page of his 'possible' Group Buy with what key-cap profile he will be using I naturally thought that this one was going to be a DCS version.

I normally don't read all through the postings here due to not having copious amount of time to peruse all of Geekhack but this is entirely my fault for assuming the wrong profile that's all.

Plus I experimented with something weird a day ago whilst off shift and now everything is a lot clearer.

DSA, FTW!

I do not see a second left shift key in 2.25x size. You wrote it would be included.

I agree with everyone that we should have a zentradi cap as an option, though this set did start out based on the vf-1s, so it doesn't exactly fit the theme. Either way, here's a copy of their logo without the glossy highlighting and background.

Honestly robotech didn't have a lot of logos considering the number of military units throughout its various arcs. Especially during the macross saga. Best thing to possibly change would be the alphanumerics into the zentradi alphabet.

Could do the alphabet as an optional like the rebel set has. I honestly like the set as is though. Anyone that wants the set will know that it's robotech as it is now, but it's not over the top either.

Let me scan the show. I'm pretty sure there are symbols in the cockpit for the three control levers.

It was already in the numpad? I have not noticed that before sorry. I think it would be a good idea to include that other logo in the miscellaneous subset for those not requiring the numpad.

That's S.M.S. from Macross Frontier. Same for this one;

Skull Squadron

It would fit the theme though. Or maybe keep it for a follow up set... ;D

I like the danger logo, even if it's not specific to the set, it fits in with the fighter/aircraft concept.

You could put NO STEP on a non-stepped caps lock :p

I just have to find the right graphics for the 3 modes

(also I don't know if the "DANGER" logo is too small)

It's a great show. Fun space battles and possibly the best romances of any story since Romeo and Juliet.

That depends on prices I think. If the main set price does not get too expensive with the merger. Otherwise, I think to keep them separated makes more sense price-wise. I hope many GHers go for this set to keep prices low.

found this on the box

(see next post)

cleaned it up and filled in a few spots to this

(see next post)

I have a clean .png of that without the watermark, background black, etc. for you if you would like to use them. I also have a watermark-free copy of the original image if you would like that as well.
also, I found this on google.
hope this is of some assistance.
