I'm glad I'm not the only one that has a hard time with that R ... every time I look at it it just screams "I'm not R!" ... luckily the 7 key has the additional shifted item on it as well or it would be even worse. I think that's the reason I took an instant dislike to that board, I should really try it with other keycaps before I gut it for parts.

That is a rather hideous R key... for some reason I was looking at it and wondering what the upside down L key could possibly be. As far as "futuristic" fonts go, I'm always a fan of OCR-A. Readable, techie-futuristic, techy-retro, and techy actually having a geeky purpose all at the same time. For the few labels that my keyboard does use, they're in that font.

OCR-A is a much better choice for sure. Call me old but I still like Courier (and variants). Never have a problem trying to read it. It's been driving my consoles/terms for a long long time too.

Blasphemy! I'd say it's definitely worse than the font on the deck boards... I love my Deck (yes, I consider it sacred). At least the engineers who chose the font for the deck had some sort of rational reason behind it. It was something along the lines of "It allows the LEDS to shine through most brightly" or something like that.
