Rosewill 104 key board w/MX Blues (never used, decided I much preferred Reds and missed NewEgg RMA window)

ErgoDox w/Ergo Clears (55g Korean springs, will include original springs), assembled personally with professional solder joints, SMD diodes, tested, very clean build. The problem is, I just need Reds. So I'd either like to sell the assembled kit and start over, or I'm going to have to de-solder every last switch and swap them out for Reds.

I does, but that's tedious and it's easy to break a switch.

Any idea?

1. a set recently sold for $110 by mistakemistake
2. around $80 would be fair... maybe a bit more because it is translucent and a desirable color
3. couldn't tell you because I want to buy it if you are selling
4. a set recently sold for $80 + shipping by Hyde

I'm not to familiar with these older Apple Keyboards but $80 sounds steep to me. I would stalk around on Ebay for a month or so and you should be able to find a better deal.

I switched one without removing it, but didn't like the process. If there's a guide for that around here somewhere I'd love to see it - either I did it wrong, or I'm not confident it can be done on all of them safely.

Like new G84-4100? (used less than 2 hours)

I see them selling for ~$45 on ebay, and $75 on mk.com. Just wanted to double check here.

Also, black alps switches? 104 of them to be exact.

To be honest, the G84-4100 (ML4100) shouldn't cost so much.  You can find it for $20 retail on pacificgeek.  The shipping is only $10 to San Francisco:

http://www.pacificgeek.com/product.asp?c=206&s=1689&ID=21450&P=F

As for the price of black alp switches, I'm not sure.  The switches may cost more or less than that of a used Dell AT101W (~$30 shipped)

How much can I get for a set like this? There's no tenkeypad or arrow keys. Fits on MX, material looks like thick ABS doubleshot.
are you positive it 'fits' on cherry mx and isn't just a tiny bit too big and loose (insert ex gf joke BAM!)
if it's a Sears EC2 then you can mod them to work with mx pretty easily but they won't fit by default

Does anyone know what a year old Ducky Shine 1 would be worth? It isn't damaged in any way, and the caps are in good condition. I'm having a hard time determining a value though, since the Shine 2 and 3 are now out. I would like to offer it to a friend at a low price, but not for less than half of what I could get for it. I never see any used ones floating around, so I don't know where to start.

Only big difference on the Shine1 reset the backlight brightness on each boot, probably worth at least 75% of the original cost still.

What's a fair price for an IBM Model F AT (5170)?  I haven't tested it yet since I'm waiting on an AT to PS/2 Adapter, but what would be a fair price for it once I confirm it's working?  Overall, it's in good shape.  Not perfect shape, but definitely good shape.

It seems like the prices fluctuate wildly on these, so I'm having a hard time pricing it.

$120-150 would not be at all out of line. You are right, they sell at random prices.

If it were mine, everything tested A-OK, and I had cleaned it up nicely, I would start at about $180 and drop the price about $20 about every 3 days until it sold.

Welp, just tested it an it works 100% a-ok.  Had three caps seated wrong that had me worried, but once I seated them right, it seems to be all good.

In fact, I'm typing out this response on it right now.  I can see why people like them so much better than Model Ms. They're much heftier and better to type on.

+ tax + shipping, making it $290-300.  If it's $240 shipped and in good condition, it's a decent price.  Not amazing, but not horrible.

I'm new here so bare with me. I was thinking of selling my Ducky Shine 1 (Brown Switches, White LEDs), a leather Ducky wrist rest, and a Ducky keychain (Blue switch with orange Ducky key). Hopefully as one big group. The keyboard is in good shape with only a little over a year of use. I have everything that came in the box with the keyboard, but not the box. What do you guys think would be a reasonable price?

well since I'm going after the blue/gray pbt models - brown is out of it.  Only Blue/Black/Red are in stock.

So let's say red or blue since they are probably worth more by $5 or whatever.

Given those options, I'd choose the MX Black, but that's just preference.  I think there's been a resurgence of interest in Blues lately, seen several inquiries posted.

I'd think $80-$90 shipped for a naked board is a decent price, considering a PBT dye-sub cap set will start around $40.

Hmm I don't know about any given time maybe one a month for a few days and usually only blues after rebates.  ::)

But I'd probably take $40 for it shipped without the case  :thumb:

Although maybe it would be more fun to desolder it.  :o

A brand new QFR (red/black/brown/blue) without the case?

Or more specifically SGK-4000-GKCC1-US model (blacks) with no case.

QFR's can be had at any given time for about $55 shipped from newegg/amazon/etc. I'd say $40 shipped for one with no case.

Hmm I don't know about any given time maybe one a month for a few days and usually only blues after rebates.  ::)

But I'd probably take $40 for it shipped without the case  :thumb:

Although maybe it would be more fun to desolder it.  :o

Good to know, btw reds are sold out.

I think they coolermaster is trying to clear stock of the old boards.

And that deal on browns isn't bad since browns can be hard to find lately.

How much can I get out of a like-new Ducky Zero Shine with Blue LEDS and Cherry MX Blacks?  I'm getting it tomorrow for $75 just so I could try out MX Blacks for a few days.

I generally sell used switch for $.40/ea, or I make breaks for common quantities like 61, 87, 101, 104 taking couple $ off. It seems something around this is general consensus for most sellers.
