Title: Extra Buttons for CST Ltrac

I picked up a CST Ltrac with the two ports for  extra buttons. I have seen various mods where a couple regular keys were used as external buttons. How was this done exactly? I would like to is a couple Sanwa buttons but I am a bit at a loss for how to program them? What would the wiring be like. Would be even possible?
